this isn't intracellular signaling btw. Those are plasma membrane receptors; intracellular receptors are either in the cytoplasm or the nucleus.

ya but it also stimulates an enzyme which i cannat remember it's name and which catalyzes glycogen into 6 phosphot-glucose , and then it's converted into bate glucose and excreted into the blood stream

I was fortunate enough in college to have an Anatomy & Physiology professor who was an MD Endocrinologist, a Biochemistry Professor who went the med school Biochem path, and a pathophysiology professor who was a practicing physician. I now hold both a Masters of Nursing (ACNP), and BS, Biochemistry and am a better provider/chemist because of the knowledge they shared. This video is fantastic. I am using it to teach one of my students G Protein signalling.
