Eric Clapton also stated someday that he feels intimidated when MK is playing. It is so annoying to hear people comparing one good thing against the other. You have no quantitative way to determine who plays better. Just shut up and enjoy it or go and post somewhere else you like better.

Maybe Chet Atkins is a legend, but his playing gives me nothing. To me, Mark Knopfler sounds much better, and has a much wider talent.

That's just my opinion.
