I totally agree. Actually, there is a US version, but not by Hollywood. They were trying to do it the way they made their version of Power Rangers, but fail. I had the unfortune to watch some episodes of that version......

当時の大人達が真剣に作ったウルトラマン（セブンは特に）。日本では知らない人はいない、そして世界に誇れるウルトラマン・・・日本人でよかった、ウルトラマンを好きでよかった・・・って大袈裟だけど常思います。
どうでもいい事ですけどガヴァドンの最初の姿はいつ見てもかわいいですな。

全然古さを感じません。
仮面ライダーや戦隊ものも宇宙刑事もいいけど
