I've been on some via ferattas in austria - they're a great idea! We only have one in the UK, and you have to pay to use it, so of course people go up exposed routes in their trainers and fall off or need rescuing......

If this is Tofana, I have skied down the mountain (mountain has a double black) . The skiing was terrifying so the Via Ferrata would send me crazy with all that exposure!!

Its like walking on air up there!

yeah, i know, thx. the bicycle helmet was used by my friend, this summer he used a proper climbing helmet ;)

@mnegyesi Ive only done 2 via ferrata's and I understand that it is actually very difficult to video the event properly...very time consuming....You did very well on this one as you have captured how terrifying it is...
