Having a promoter would also be fun and there would be scheduled and announced events, most likely in a championship fights. In short, a simulation of the real world of boxing. (hey, someone somehow wanted to be Ali or Dela-hoya right, lol, maybe its possible here). Hows that? MMA (UFC) or Professional Wrestling could also be something. Just a wild suggestion here :)

How about an online boxing where anyone could create his own player (like in fight night series), train him (sparring included and maybe fight in an amateur event-like fights before turning pro) and eventualy make him fight in a sanctioning body web server (yours maybe)where there are divisions and rankings.

How can you say nothing happens? You can clearly see the characters reaction when they are hit. Maybe you are thinking that some of the misses are actually hits?

1) U cant throw combos it seems.

2) Wheres the straight punches ?

3) Why the annoying change of camera angles with left and right punches ?

i'd never play it, the characters look gay, most of the punches thrown don't even get in range to connect and the punch animations are half-assed.

It looks good so far. I like the animation, especially the bobbing and weaving motion. I would like to know footwork would be implemented into the game.

Looks cool, but from my years of gaming expeirence, I would have to say that the unrealistic characters in the game did take a way of bit of the reality, in which I do like in a game. However, the doding, and overall graphics were pretty nice.

I know. It's just that I like that. I understand that the developers were going for a cartoony look, I was just stating that I don't like that. That was a long time ago though and now that I look at it again I like it in this type of game.

looks awesome. I like how you can actually dodge and block all the punches instead of only blocking. Things i would like to see is a counter punch feature in there. Like in the very end of the video after the fat guy was punching the bag. I would also like to see weight on those punches. If your guy is a hard hitting boxer, I would to "experience" that.
