kid, u gotta show me how do u play a fukcing video on ur ipod either 1 or 2 gn. without using ur fingers. Linux makes the video as photos, thats why this guy play the video and doesnt show his fingers scrolling..

Differs on who uses them. (I use both)but rockbox is a little mire user friendly compared to normal ipod linux. But their both good.

I just got a Sansa E270 and rockbox is okay but it's not too straightforward. I like it nonetheless for drag and drop, .flac, and eventually I'll put roms on it.

u should try rockbox for just a simple look and feel, much language support and cool applications. But if u want to download custom applications, you should get linux

trust me. if all you want is videos, its not worth it. The best part about ipod linux is the fact you can play idoom and pokemon gold/silver on your ipod

well back when i did it, i had to manually add in all the files myself. Now they have this installer thing that installs ipl for you onto your nano. google up ipod linux and youll find it.

I havent been checking up on the forum recently though, so im not sure if 2nd gen ipod nanos work now, but they didnt before.

not sure about podzilla but rockbox works perfectly right next to the itunes software. It's totally up to you if you want to nuke it off or not.
