Eh, I still prefer the line-up with Hansen and Kiske. Not saying Deris is bad, he's great, but Kiske's a better singer and Hansen is simply awesome.

The only thing Kiske does better is singing. Acutally Kiske doesn't like metal music. Andi has much better contact with the audience. Kiske's english is very poor. Actually on concerts Deris is much better. But on albums Kiske is better :) His high tones rule.

Yeah, I know some of that. It's really a pity how he doesn't like metal. I haven't found many good-quality vids of Kiske live, so I'm not sure how good he is live. Is Deris really better? Or did you simply mean he's a better frontman?

About singing - Kiske is still great live. Better than Deris. But Deris is a much better frontman and people have more fun on concerts with him. Kiske just sings - no "games" with audience.

Oh, I say this only because of what I've seen on videos, I've never seen Helloween live.

Hansen's voice is very good. His guitar playing is even better. Thanks to him, Helloween were playing good music. Helloween, after he left, had 2 bad albums.

Well, Kiske's live performance was something like 'all-or-nothing' during 87-89. In a good day, he did all but in a bad day, he wasn't the right singer at all. His vocal perf in live improved a lot in 92 - Well did a lot of great concerts.. It's a pity that he started to lose interest in Helloween since 93 and showed a lot of bad concerts.

Andi's live performances have been always sustainable and great, but famous bootlegs are generally in bad conditions so that he has been underrated a lot as a live singer. 94-04, He had been awesome live. Belive me, I listened his bootleg more than 70 gigs and went concert two times. Andi always has been great on albums, but also in concerts.
