Why have they sped it up so much?

As much as I like Otep on record, they're not a very good live band, from what I've seen (haven't seen them in person since they never seem to leave America). Especially now that Otep seems to spend about half an hour per show giving some cringeworthily clichéd speeches about "politics".

as far as comparisons go arch enemy is like miles away than otep...they have an extra-ordinary ensemble that's hard pretty to beat...one of the best drummers and kick ass guitarists...and they're European...so metal is what flows in their veins!...Though I do like a few otep songs...but after a while i would say it's just trash other than the catch music!

i went to see OTEP a few years ago and was outside the show taking pics of the new (at the time) tour bus and she came running out and grabbed me for a few pics. Then went to a bar after hours and hung out with the band. Very random and very cool. I dont know if you had a chance to meet her, but the possibility is there. Very cool chick.
