  • -> Thumbs up if you think the original "let the right one in" is BETTER than the remake "let me in". if not shame on you poor mortal !

  • he buscado esta cancion por 9 años, por la he encontrado, es la mejor cancuion del mundo ja.

  • They just don't write 'em like that anymooooooooo

  • I brought myself here...just because I LOVE this song... that's all. One of my all time favorite songs!

  • HOUSE OF THE DEVIL and the music brought me here.....

  • i heard this on let me in but the sound of the music is what brought me here. made me think of BOC when i heard it.

  • They don't make music like this anymore.... "ah ah ah, ah ah ah ah ah"

  • O O O O O O

  • thumbs up if not giving a fuck about whats popular brought you here

  • love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • he's a sweaty,yelling bastard & not saying it in a mean way :P

  • But i love this song so fucking much, having said that.

  • I like how 80's bands act cool XD Epic head nod 1:57 LOL

  • This was, is, and will remain forever to be one of my favorite songs EVER.

  • Abby the vampire slayer jams out hard to this song... As do I. Classic tune.

  • 19 people need to have abby vamp out on them.

  • Thanks for some of the history of Greg Kihn in the SF Bay area. This is right at the top of about 5 favorite rock songs of my early party years. Still is. I was watching another YT Video of this song by Greg Kihn from a New Years Party I think for 2011. He's still kicking and it's fun to watch the great rockers still rocking.

  • Used to listen to local Greg Kihn when I was playing keyboards in South SF Bay band Ringmaster.

We were going to do a cover of this song with kazoos for the "unh-unh-unh" parts.

Kihn influenced our songwriting for the better. I understand very well the great feeling of being onstage when the crowd really gets into your music.

Now we get to hear Kihn DJ on a local classic rock station - he was there, so he knows the music.

    Rock on!

  • Great song that reminds me of a local home town rock band that played the song in the 80s. Great dance/drinking music back then. This video brings back good memories.

  • I got to see the Greg Kihn Band open up at a monsters of rock concert back in the early 80's in Seattle at the Kingdome this concert so kicked ass...Greg Kihn, Joan Jett, Loverboy and Foreigner WHAT an excellent concert from start to finish...

  • Thumbs up if you brought yourself here

  • I love the down to earth feel of the band as they knock out such an awesome song. Just good American Rock and Roll! I first heard this song when my brother received a mix K-Tel record for Christmas. This was the only good song on the record that I remember.

  • This is real music !! NOT NO JUSTIN BIBER SHIT !

  • let me in did not bring me here..i already own the album since i was 10

  • I'm very fortunate to live in the bay area, so I have seen him preform many times over the years. They don't write em like that anymore!

  • If the San Francisco area had better local labels than Fantasy and Beserkley, the Bay Area would be a much better known music hotbed. Too bad so many artists were suppressed by those fly-by-night labels. The Tubes, Sylvester, Pearl Harbor, Greg Kihn, Sly Stone, and many other unknowns would have been much bigger artists.

  • damn this is back when i was proud to have MTV

  • Hell Yeah! This was recorded 15 years before I was born, but hell, this is among the BEST SONGS OF ALL TIME.

  • Amazing songwriting. thank you greg Kihn! haha to say that someone who is wasn't even born when a song was wrote can't appreciate it is just dumb! I am 22 years old born in 1989 and my biggest influences have come from the 70's and 80s. think about the people who enjoy classical music or jazz that was wrote well before they were born. I play guitar in a cover band that plays 60s,70s,and 80s hits. i love the classics and truely do miss the ways of the real musicians of the day!

  • He is a radio DJ now. I saw him in concert in the 80s. Good times.

  • It feels so strange out, in the atmospheres!

  • f''king EXCELLENT!

  • It has fire!

  • back when music had meaning...now it all these re-worded repeat fags who make millions...taking credit from true songs and true people...This is real music, thats all I have to say!!!

  • Aplomb aplomb aplomb aplomb aplomb aplomb aplomb aplomb aplomb.

  • My son is getting into Santana! Not the shit on Supernatural but old Santana!

  • @moistsheep Greg Kihn sucks!

  • the movie is a shit but the music is ok

  • let me in brought me here ... thumbs up if u did the same thing because of the movie

  • @richyloco19 I have watched the movie many times but just the other day as I watched it, and this song played, I was like, "I gotta hear it again"...LoL!!!!!!!

  • iti is a good sog

  • LOVE this song forever!!

  • this song is so old i had forgot about it let me in reminded me of it, i just love this song so much

  • Let Me In brought me here! I love that movie!

  • thumbs up if let me in brought you here

  • This song kicks serious ass live.

  • This song played in the American version of Let the Right One In... called Let Me In. sooooo Btw, Let me in.... NOT Let the right one in.

  • btw, let the right one in....not let me in..

  • fucking awesome!

  • "Remember" was his best song. Remember, do you?

  • thumb up if see this after watch let me in

  • I seen them 4 times opening up for various bands in Philly. I originally thought they were the Great King Band. Hey - that's a good name for a band. Excellent Group!!!

  • Great song!!!! And, sounds like they are playing it real loud here. Yeah!

  • lo mejor de esa epoca 80sssssss no hay una epoca como esta ok.....

    Oh! Oh! Oh!

  • Looks like 16 people will never know how they wrote'em!!!

  • "They make good music like this anymore, uh-uh-uhh uh-uh-uh-uhh!"

  • This song is like a voice mix of Brian Adams and Billy Idol. Surprised this band made this increidible hit.

  • This song is like a voice mix of Brian Adams and Billy Idol. Surprised this band made this increidible hit.

  • UFFF I love this song!!!!

  • had to look for this song for AGES to finally find it!!

  • The song is out of this world

  • Loves when the little boy in the movie *Let Me In* starts dancing to this song....great movie, great scene...

  • Where was this concert performed? I see a very faint "Disco Club" in the upper right of the video. I don't know where that place is, does anybody?

  • @57Carlibra Disco Club was a music video tv show from from Peru from the 70's and 80's. CM on the right I would guess is Cable Magico - cable company - probably replaying videos from this show.

  • what's wit his weird voice... lolzz jk awesome song

  • NOBODY sounds like the Ramones BUT the Ramones..sorry...jmo!

  • Cool,, the memories came flooding in...

  • Cool sounds like Ramones

  • Is it me but at 2:11 the tempo slowed down? Great drumming, not to nit pick, and great show.

  • LET ME IN!!! love it all

  • very very good for a live concert! \o/

  • @farblonjet It's 94.5 where I live.

  • Tomado de Disco Club! Siempre quise saber como se llamaba originalmente esta canción. Siempre la anunciaban como la Canción Incompleta, ni con el nombre del grupo acertaban.

Tuvieron q pasar 27 años para enterarme!!! Excelente aporte!!!

  • Awesome song for an awesome film and that film is Let Me In.

  • listen to him (Greg Kihn) on KFOX via streaming audio every morning. Love his morning show.

  • Simply put, this song just kicks ass. I love this song and always have. It is just as great today as when it was first released. Thank you Greg Kihn for giving us such great treasures. This song to me was your very best. I can play it over and over and over again and never get tired of hearing it. It brings me up no matter what kind of mood I am in. I am so very thankful I was around to hear it. Would be honored to get an autographed picture. Maybe one day I hope. Dave Scott, Chesapeake, VA

  • Brings back so many great memories!!

  • una dela mejores cansiones pon en ingles

  • THIS IS SOOOOOOOOO COOOL!!.

  • THIS is the song that Tom Petty wishes he had written. Those Rocking guitars sound almost as tight as Clarence White & Roger McGuinn, BYRDS, circa 1970.

    Great performance here!

  • Great song from a great era.

  • Great song from a great era.

  • thanks to deliver this pop 80's song ...

    Saludos Loreto-Peru

  • who the hell could possibly dislike this song?

  • It took me YEARS to find out the name of this song that I loved. So glad I found it out! :D

  • EXCELLENT live version! Thanks for posting this!

  • I was just going to sleep when this song pop into my head, one of my favorites when i was a kid THNX !!!

  • One of best songs ever written!! I LOVE THIS!

  • 14 people don't write anything ever.

  • One of my favourite all time songs!!

  • One of my favourite all time songs!!

  • They don't sing LIVE like this anymore!!!

  • Damn this sounds good! They don't write 'em like this anymore!!

  • y en Sugerencias aparece Lady Gaga -.-

  • I have to agree with "red23rocks." Clean and simle but the sum of the parts is something more. I don't know what it is exactly but my brain likes it. I have been listening to this song for decades now and I still love it as much as the first time. I can listen to it over and over and never get tired of it. Very few pop songs have the same staying power for me. Del Shannon's Runaway is another. Thankyou for uploading this version, it is on my favorites list!

  • He did give guitar lessons at one time ,well they just write em like no more

  • They Don't Write 'Em like THIS Anymore!!!!

  • @countwolfula Also they don't SING like that anymore! With computers and ProTools any do-nothing can conjure up a fraud.

  • @WineSippingCowboy You're 100% RIGHT, My Wine Sipping Pal! Ah, I long for the days when pure Rock ruled the Airwaves!! I hear from all kinds of teenagers here on Youtube who say that they love the Music from the 1980's! We're talking about stuff that was recorded 10 to 15 years BEFORE THEY WERE BORN!

  • he was a hottie the singer

  • Let me in

  • need as many drums as they can bring in !!! the riffs are amazin

  • AWESOME!!!!

  • You are right, Greg....concering today's "music" scence...

    they don't write'm that anymore!!!

  • Most boring drummer ever,

  • @HammernHeads

i had the same initial impression but the beauty of this song is the deceptively simple parts of all the instruments. less is more with this song, esp. the drums

  • @tamerswan Does He?

  • nice. you don`t often get a huge 80s hit being better live than the studio. That drummer hits them drums like he caught them making out with his girlfriend.

  • He has been writing books since He doesn't sing anymore.

  • Sorta strange kinda stops and starts a bit . There are several other vids that are

    somewhat bettahh, help !

  • At my first Greg Kihn concert (5 years ago) I climbed up on stage and got his autograph... I was told later that security and the San Jose Police were chasing me but lost me in the crowd of fans :-D

  • @venturafor2012

Good work. Cops should be doing things other than chasing autograph seekers around.

  • epic song =x

  • thanks for this flashback, I knew this song 20 years ago but never remember really good who sing this song till now, thanks!

  • great!!!! congratulations!

  • Certainly one of the best American guitar riffs for the 80's;strong live performance too.

Sounds fresh nearly 30 years later, in that Roger McGuinn/Byrds vein-pure guitar classic. Those 80's synth bands are stale, boring, next to this guitar gem. Enjoy!

  • I love this song!

This song is on the movie "Let Me In" and "The House Of The Devil"

I was like Woww when i heard this song on both movies! xD

  • If it wasn't for the movie Let Me In I would have never heard this song but I'm glad I did.

  • @rocker0486

I also heard the song in the "Let Me In" movie and it brought 1981 back with a vegeance. Good times for a 16 year old so cal kid....

  • Joe Satriani said playing with Greg Kihn was a lot of fun.

  • Epic haircut.

  • Buenisima ROLA ya tenia que no la escuchabaaa_AAA-aaa-AAA aaaaa

  • @toriky

"Buenisima ROLA" here in my country/language(Brasil/Portuguese) means something like "wonderfull Pênis". I just thought you would like to know.

  • yes . let me in. is a time machine, for my generation. i feel reckless, and in love again.

  • Nice live version of my favorite early 80's song. Steve

  • yea i agree with slayer. We people in the San Francisco have the great privelage to listen to Greg Kihn on the radio. He is a great DJ with fun storys to tell.I forgot but it was pretty recently that he was singing this song on the radio.lol. He voice is much deeper now but still a great perfomance. heh

  • @Joethemithra ur also around a bunch of queers in sf so its not worthi t

  • Kick-Ass music!! Dam, one of my favs from the 80's!! The other guitarist looks like Greg's brother!!! Same shirt too!!

  • Great fucking song!!!.....a classic!!

  • cooll! Leha from Russia, Moskow.

  • @Alex666289 is that the original they made a year ago or sumtin!..in french!

  • I used to love this music. The early 80s had some great, grooveable, danceable songs with real singing and real instruments. fun stuff!

  • Owen puts his hands in his pockets, listens to the music,

bopping his head subtly, walking around the room. He is

setting a mood, trying to be nonchalant. He spies a quick

look down the hall to see if Abby’s out of the shower yet.

A moment later, Abby appears, wrapped in a towel, clutching

her bloody clothes. She slows, hearing the music. Glances

at Owen. Smiles appreciatively. Bops her head a little too.

Owen sidles up to her, hands still in his pockets. He has to

    yell over the music --

  • omg i love this song im 26 yrs old female. My family think im a little weird cause i listen to this kind of music im mexican american, but hey i can blame myself for liking real good music

  • this is Great!!

  • bad 12-string

  • I listen to this guy on the Classic Rock station almost every week talking about cool stories and his opinions on rock bands and songs.....he is the best radio DJ ever!!!!

  • @SlayerInBlood haha do you go to Kihnsert every year too? That and the Bone really are the only radio stations I listen to whenever I'm headed through the bay

  • @gazeemyth No but I have given up on todays radio stations and only listen to the classic rock station. I only check the stations that play new music once in a while to see if they are playing a good song but most of time for me its classic rock and im only 25 years old. Fuck todays music on the radio, fuck it. I'm so tired of it. Classic rock all the way!!!

  • @SlayerInBlood

I used to live in the Bay Area and got to hear him on KFOX every morning, he really is a great DJ with some amazing stories. I really miss hearing him all the time.

  • @SlayerInBlood Same with my dad when he drives on the way to work.

  • @SlayerInBlood could you tell me the internet address of this station please? I'd love to hear his show. Thank you.

  • @SlayerInBlood
