  • Remove any of the cats?

  • what kind of exhaust you have on it ?

  • hey can you tell me from start to finish what your exhaust setup is? my sister wants me to build her a system for her ranger and she came across this video and fell in love.

  • mine sounds almost the same as that..i still have all the resonators and the cat on mine

  • Well Im about to do this to my 94 ranger today. I have a 40 Delta flow instead so it wil problulby be quieter, how ever either today or next week end I will be gutting the cats.

  • that looks exactly like mine except mine is a 2000 model

  • looks good i have the same set up on mine

  • dude, that thing is a beast lol sounds good, can tell its loud, its loud enpuh it makes the mic want to make that crackled muffled sound when you rev it up. :D sounds good. This is a reg 40 right?

  • The Lightning Style is sick. Check out my vids; I have the exactly the same layout as you do on my ranger.

  • what layout do you have on it

  • looks like my buddys 95 ford ranger xl 4wd 5spd it has a lilttle bit of bigger tires not real much bigger but alrlight its really nice has the same exhuast setup except he only has 1 on his side exhuast

  • back in the day the big thing was putting a 302 in early 80's bronco 2, you had to put a body lift to make the headers fit, after you located em (No internet back then) Lifes hard when you want to be different .

  • imagine putting a lightning's engine in that thing

  • Lol that would be cool but in reality those little tires would never grab the road.

  • its been done but it was running some crazy wide tires in the rear

  • The truck will be fast as hell and you can have lots of fun driving it but i dont think it matters what kind of tires you got, there is just no weight in the rear of the truck to keep the tires planted. it'll be pretty hard to feel the true power of it. anythings possible though

  • ya i got a ranger and a lighting and even the lighting its hard to feel what it can really do any thruck with a nice beefy motor lacks because on no weight in the rear but they are just so sexy

  • prolly would not fit

plus you know how many more mods you gotta do

but i know what you are saying

  • sounds alot like my explorer sport

  • aw so much better than the other video :D I like the sound man. I have a 95 4.0 Ranger with a super 44 and it sounds alright its deep but I plan on going with either a 40 or a super 40 not to sure yet. I have the cats gutted on mine, that way PD looks under there it all looks legal lol. Any ways sounds good man.

  • that is just disgusting in the most beautiful of ways.

  • what kind of exhaust is that because i have a 4.0liter 2000 ford ranger and i want it to sound like that

  • Dude i have to know the whole setup!

  • hell yeah it can be i went to a guy that does "custom exhaust" he hooked it up i couldent be happier with the finished product

  • i have an 03 lookin to do the same setup. a guy at a muffler shop said it cant be done, was that becouse he was afraid to move the muffler from the factory location?

  • trust me it can be done i wish i had some pics of it in the air and you can see what i did, also i did it my self with the help of a friend at one of my old jobs shops.

  • hey wat kinda muffler is that and is the cats still functional?

  • you have only cut after the muffler or you have put flow master or somting like that!!

  • how much did the whole system cost?

  • sounds fucking scary lol sweeeeeeeeeeeet

  • thats badassed i want my ranger to sound like that.

  • how much did those tips cost yah because i have been looking for months for some like that but they are all like $100-$150.

  • They are stainless steel tips and would have cost me $12 a piece at my shop but I never paid for them so free. And where the hell are you looking for tips at? Just go to a muffler shop and buy there tips there around the same price as mine.

  • yeah but l live in alaska and the cheapest i found were at napa(we have no muffler shops here) for single screw on tips for $15 a piece.

  • I have a '99 2-door Explorer with a Flowmaster already. I'm considering doing something similar. My question is, even though I'm keeping my cats, would it be abusively loud?

I like the way your truck sounds, but to judge volume I'd pretty much have to hear it in person.

  • Be on the look out for my up and comming burn out videos and race videos

  • like that tip layout. you got it on both sides or just one? sounds awesome man.

  • Just the one side

  • looks nice man! And that sound is so sweet outa that 4.0L V6 :)
