@mcdonnell220 ~ No more jokes on your Atlantic Airways but it's fun when someone else can appreciate a bit of the humor. On a more serious note ~ I just referenced you on a post I made on "TWA 707 Lands at Paris Airport." It's not your VID but you deserved honorable mention. Keep the posts coming, it's important that we keep the memory of commercial aviation's great airliners alive!
@mcdonnell220 ~ I'm guessing the flight crew were each issued a tube of glue. What do you think? You think their on an ILS final to where? And the woman, at 5:00, who JUST wakes up? What do you think happened to her with that plane in a SEVERE nose-down attitude pitch of about 70 degrees, while rolling right & left at about the same severity. I guess she's a major league sleeper!! Does living 80 years ago really excuse a movie maker from having an I.Q. that can be found on an AC dial?
There's NO doubt that those two knobs the guy grabs (@ 4:53) helped save the day! And why sit in a pilot's seat when you can stand between the two and grab a handful of everything!!!! The technical advisor on this movie should have been rewarded with a Walker, Texas Ranger, boot kick to the nads!
Hey! Now that guy knows his shit! Yank back on both yokes at the same time cause you know that that will definitely pull that freakin' plane out of a dive a hell of a lot faster!!! Nothing like a plane with 103 engines on it!
Gotta love how the passengers decide to take some fresh air in the middle of a flight.
Nope, turbulence and the cold air is absolutely no problem whatsoever.
