Well the war was started because things like the Nakba was happening, I have family who were holocaust survivors who were going to live in Israel but left quickly when they saw what was happening to the Palestinians and the people already there, no one has the right to forcefully set up a gov for people living there.

Also the property loss of Jews kicked of their land in Arab countries after 1948 was about ten times the amount of any Palestine Arabs kicked of theirs.
Many countries in the middle east were thrown together by the British and other countries. There are far less credible countries than Israel there.

Israel has a huge security concern and nations that attacked it before it every did anything to anyone. They formed their country more justly than nearly any country in the world, they payed for the land in money and blood. It's theirs and they are going to defend it. In fact they should be more aggressive.
