93k on it?....it must of had a very easy life....my first ford was a 72 4x4 360 /4bbl...now my other truck is a 77 ranger XLT 4X4 factory a/c ...well i will give you credit..at least you have a chevy and not a flimsy ass toyota ...do you have any idea..or have you ever seen a ford 390 anyway?

@Travhouse its funny to see chevy guy's abuse a ford guy..and put fords down , but yet when chevy guys built there vehicle's..90% of the time they use the ford 9 inch rear and mustang 2 front suspension ...if fords are so bad then dont use any of our 9 inch rear's ok?.and remember ford was in business long before chevy..or GM .ford is america's oldest car company and was building v8's 23 year's before chevy even offered a v8 of any kind...and didnt take a dime in tax payer's money
@390merc65 well i dont have ANY ford parts on my truck i have never put ford parts on any of my chevys i have never had a problem with any of my chevy trucks but its funny the three fords ive owned crown victoria, f-250, bronco 2, were all pieces of crap always had problems with brakes valve compression leaking oil the transmissions the paint ford uses on there cars and trucks fade even if you take care of it so let me say this to you very proudly FOUND ON ROAD DEAD

@390merc65 ya okay mr 390 ford engine guy i have a 1983 Chevrolet C-20 that can outrace out burn any ford in my hometown and i have owned ten chevy trucks and none of them have ever smoked on start up and they were all 350's and 454's

Very cool. My first hot rod was a 51 Ford with a 430 Lincoln engine in it. I put a T-bird rear end in it to get some gear, and it was insainely fast. I remember running off both sides of the interstate at 160 MPH and wrestling it back up on the pavement. My girlfriend said she'd never ride with me again. That was 40 years ago. I got by just fine without her..
that thing is badass you should primer it black if anything! i had a 68 country sedan rat rod. i loved it wish i never sold it but i still got the 390 motor.
