@xbbjaix When working on different films, you usually have to do different accents. What most actors do is maintain a temporary accent until the movie is complete. Being the method actor that Christian is, he doesn't do a temporary accent, but actually changes his accent completely for every movie. He does this so well that the accent sticks with him until he is hired to do a different accent for a movie. This is an extremely difficult task, and proves he is one of the best Hollywood has.
I think Christian is pretty intense. What you see is what you get. He has a passion about his art and movies and as an interviewer, I think you have to have some pretty good questions to get him to open up. Otherwise, the interview is just a tedious part of his job.

His batman voice was alot better in Batman begins. Even though the voice in The dark knight showed how he has matured but the scenes were batman talk in begins to Rachel or Jim in the was subtle. Toward the end when Batman says "it ends here" is a clear well spoken line, I think Bale pushed the voice too far in TDK, though I still like the voice but I can see how people complain.

What a great interview! When you listen to Christian Bale talk about the character and film, you get educated, elevated, AND entertained. Because The Dark Knight went supernova (quite rightly), people seem to forget that Batman Begins was a revelation with audiences and critics upon its release in 2005, and IMO still stands alone as a quite brilliant 10/10 superhero movie.
this was the best batman movie. slightly better than the dark knight just in my opinion just by THAT much. but theres one thing that bugs me and that's the fight scenes were shot waaaay too close and relies a lot on quick cuts up to the point where it's like what the hell is going on the all of a sudden everyone is down on the ground and batman is the last man standing lol

I absolutely love Batman Begins, especially the scene where Raz burns down Bruce's house, and after the elevator collapses on the ground with Alfred and Bruce on it, Alfred says "Why do we fall........So we can learn to pick ourselves back up". If you like CHris Nolan's Batman more than Tim Burton's Batman, then you have to like Heath's Joker better than Nicholson's. Because Ledger's Joker was more threatening and more appropriate to a more realistic, grittier world that Chris Nolan put him in. Jack Nicholson's portrayal was a classic, but it would be out of place in Dark Knight because it's a little more...."cartoony"? It's less threatening.
I think Keaton and Bale did better job then anyone else and refuse to pick between them. Just like I will not choose between Ledger and Nichalson. They were done in different ways.

Because Ledger's Joker was more threatening and more appropriate to a more realistic, grittier world that Chris Nolan put him in. Jack Nicholson's portrayal was a classic, but it would be out of place in Dark Knight because it's a little more...."cartoony"? It's less threatening.

I think Keaton and Bale did better job then anyone else and refuse to pick between them. Just like I will not choose between Ledger and Nichalson. They were done in different ways.

You are a moron! Keaton is skinny, short, balding, no muscles and no personality.
A recent poll of 75,000 people showed Christian Bale was given the best batman ever (yeah, despite the metallic voice overs).
Reasons? Bale is tall like Batman (6'1"), built 200 lbs muscular frame for movie, looks and acts like a millionaire that Bruce is and can act and show vulnerability much better than Keaton's wooden acting ever could!

The movies were better than both the new batmans.
keaton was average build wasn't balding he was middle aged and had this dark side to him.

Well it's because Bale is something of a method actor and he keeps a hold of the accent of the character he is portraying at the time, not just during interviews but in everyday life too apparently.
