yes Christian Bale pulled off the character quite well. but in the book wasn't bryce actually price? I could be mistaken and if it is so I know it's only a minor thing but still bothered me. We also didn't get to see most of the people being killed by Patrick although that would definetly give it an NC-17 rating.

i HATE how the movie interprets the book. and as much as i love christian bale, the first choice for the role, leo d, would have been better, but not perfect. patrick bateman was cold as ice, and only progressed to the laughing maniac portrayed throughout the movie by bale. and the huey lewis/whitney houston critiques should have been left out of the movie. patrick bateman would never have gone into such sentimental detail with anyone.

You are right in most points, However I'm the one that always has the book and the movie Completely apart, to me, the point on the '' sentimental talk '' is that it really wasn't, one has to understand that in a movie, you have to integrate, ''a Human side'' ALWAYS, otherwise is just not enjoyable , you ARE right, but again they are 2 completely different things, I loved it, great video!

i thought actually christian bale was an excellent choice i really could not see leo in this role. and as to the parts where he discusses the music since in the book they were whole chapters i think they wanted to find a way to include it in the movie. but you gotta notice both times when he discusses whitney and the news the people are like drugged up or drunk and about to die so for him it was like talking to no body.
