  • How long do these crystals last?

  • Thumbs up if you mute the video right when it starts

  • That shiet was 39 seconds wtf

  • @ssbankai You can read, gj.

  • @secoxxx gee no humor huh

  • OMFG I WANT :DDD

  • not enough minerals

  • looks like crystals from C&C 3 :D

  • Cu SO IV ...

  • in case of the ingestion of copper sulfate. However, if copper sulfate is retained in the stomach, the symptoms can be severe. After 1–12 grams of copper sulfate are swallowed, such poisoning signs may occur as a metallic taste in the mouth, burning pain in the chest, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, headache, discontinued urination, which leads to yellowing of the skin. In case of copper sulfate poisoning, injury to the brain, stomach, liver, or kidneys may also occur.[23]

  • @hubbymuffin1 Drano... sure it'll clean you out, but it'll leave you hollow inside.

  • nvm sorry

  • What is the song?

  • @thompsonstudios01 why would you use copper nitrate? and do you understand the risk using nitric acid? its pointless.

  • @secoxxx yes i see the risk but its an amazing proscess and you can make the nitric acid

  • @thompsonstudios01 where would I get nitric acid? something at hardware store have this or ?

  • @mikefromspace make it its just chemistry

  • @thompsonstudios01 nobody in Ca seems to sell that chemical. Will have to try oregon or order on the net probably (cheaper than gas!!!) root killer is sodium meta bi sulphate instead here.

  • @thompsonstudios01 FAIL FAIL FAIL

  • i maked my and i vated days and nothing hapends

  • @MrLorum Well, seeing as you can't write correctly to save your life, are you sure you used copper sulfate?

  • 4 hours to make?

  • Beautiful.

  • Gorgeous simply fantastic

  • @Charsept: yep. Cool blue!!!

  • color = badass

  • hey can you teach me how you made that crystal thats soooooooooooo cool looking forward to your next vid

  • cant it b smooth to cause it will look kool with crystals all around a smooth rock'

itll b like a crystal ball

  • Comment removed

  • @zakamooza it will eventually stop growing.

  • Comment removed

  • @zakamooza yeah just wash it down the drain, its root killer.

  • does anyone know if these can be grown on a string, stick, wire...?

  • Starcraft minerals

  • a host rock is like those stones i find in the dirt? (rough)

  • @kwebber1234 yeah, just something the crystal seeds can latch on to.

  • @secoxxx sweet.

  • @secoxxx and can you sell these?

  • *grabbing my screen* TIBERIUM!!!

  • That's really cool.

  • these are friggin awesome

  • @nifected thanks, apparently it was beginners luck because i have yet to get them that big again.

  • they are soo pretty!!

  • YEAAHHH!!! THOSE CRYSTALS ARE SO FUCKING HARDCORE!!

  • i must ask, did anyone try to mix some color in solution

  • This is seriously freaking awesome looking! XD

  • 4 hours?? for real? i'm growing one right now, and it's the size of a tennis ball but it took a good 3-4 days >.>

  • @VALKIR4636

dude make a vid and show that crystal!i bet its EPIC

  • @gameduderox

i made an album of photos on FB , if you'd like to see them search for Vilimir Kirov ;)

  • @VALKIR4636

    your name doesnt show up.

  • @VALKIR4636

    nvm dude.

  • @gameduderox

btw i'm making a second one with an LED as a base, it's gonna be even awesome-er than the first one when it grows up :)

  • Comment removed

  • how can i make one?

  • @turbotonic27 read the description

  • @dragondeth48 who is to say it's unfitting? would you prefer world of warcraft music?

  • @secoxxx eh.. on second thought this is fine

  • @secoxxx yesh!

    grizzle hills!

  • LOOK OUT! IT'S BLUE TIBERIUM! :P

  • Does anyone know how to make soldering flux with CuSo4?

  • i tryed this all i got was a glass of copper sulphate doing nothing >.> chemestry kits dont work

  • Nice. But, what's that keyboard? :D

  • @Fedja my laptop

  • @secoxxx Thanks. I kind of hoped it's a keyboard, um, 'standalone'.

  • The song reminds me how country people have gotten

  • Do you need to wash after touching the finished crystals? isn't copper sulfate poisonous?

  • isn't it just vinegar and hydrogen pyroxide?

  • @MrJerrikoMatt um no its CuSO4

  • @MrJerrikoMatt LOL hydrogen PYROxide, LOL VINEGAR. I had to I'm sorry.

  • omg why is ppl asking what it is it says in the titleits copper sulphate.

oh and btw nice crystal man i love copper sulphate

  • nice its blue tiberium :).what is songs name?

  • Comment removed

  • What kind of rock is that?

  • @HollowAgito the host rock or the blue?

  • @secoxxx The host rock

  • it is basalt with a thin layer of calcite

  • tell me how to get the nice shape crystal am shiny or they get themselves like that?

by the way does the coper solphate solution with water has to be sealed or should i let the oxygen in?

  • @andreiq12 i grow them in a sealed 0.5l jar

  • sweet

  • you have the best crystal i have seen on youtube, could you tell me how you made this one

  • Never get the package crystals. There so cheap.

  • The crystals will continue to grow as long as you reimmerse them in hot **saturated** copper sulphate solution. The crystals provide growth points for the copper sulphate. As the solution cools, the saturation point lowers and copper sulphate has to precipitate out of the solution. Since it has a crystalline structure it will preferentially bond to the previously grown crystals. So if you want to grow the crystals further just immerse it in another warm bath of saturated solution.

  • omG i did it about 2 months but the crystal still smaller than urs~

  • yeah they usually dont get that big, i dont know how it happened, but its sweet lol

  • @secoxxx lol u're lucky~

  • @secoxxx How did you do that can u please explain the steps of how to make those kind of crystals i tried to but i don't know what temp

  • Use a seed rock to put in the solution. Use 1 cy of up of water to 3/4 cup of copper sul, Heat the water and copper to 160-170 degree stir well until all copper is disolved if any of the copper is left strain it out. the put the solution in some sort of container, and then follow by putting the seed rock in. Place the rock about 1/3 from the top of the container. The reason for this is the water cools in a convecting way meaning it cools from the bottom up allowing the crystals to grow downward.

  • you may want to find a sunny area. i usualy try to grow big, impressive clusters instead of a single perfect one, so i LOAD the solution. i got a 1 inch alum crystal, perfect octagonal crystal, in less than a day. juts turbo charge the solution and put in a rough blue piece of glass so it will blens with the crystal. hope this helps

  • @Dannybroadsword1 1 inch ~ wow~

  • im confused if people ask questions even know the answer is in the description...

  • yeah its very annoying, ppl dont read anymore they just watch.

  • you can get copper sulphate at pool stores its used as a fungicide and is fairly cheap

  • Yes i have heard of copper sulphate. But where can i get some? I can't find any anywhere

  • read the description

  • i like hte song :) what is the name of it?

  • were can i find crystal kits???

this one is very neat and i want to make one so badd!!!

  • the slower it crystallizes the bigger the crystals are

  • wow this are really really BIG cristals its hard to grow them to this big size nice work

  • thanks, must have been beginners luck because all the others i have tried have come out very small.

  • i tried even tried it much times but mine get only 2-4 milimeters but this are really awesome you got the right mixture and boil and dry temprature next time you did this notice the volume you add so you can test a bit around ^^

  • what did u use, i realy love copper sulfate and its not realy easy to get sulfuric acid, nor copper oxide

  • yeah, it really was pure luck, the crystal formation is random. but if they start growing a few instead of a bunch then the few will get bigger instead if it growing a bunch more.

  • damn how loud do u want the music???

  • there is no option on youtube for volume. maybe you should use your volume knob.

  • im rich!!

  • im just going to assume you listen to circus music.

  • Nice comebeack dude, nice!

  • I hear i can grow it in an egg, and create a dynamic solid crystal, Confirm or deny please

  • yeah you can

  • @secoxxx

how do u do it? (grow it in an egg)

  • confirm

  • I read from a site that these crystals contain water. Is it true that you have to keep them in a sealed container or else they will get powdery?

  • not that i know of, the one in the video has been sittin on the shelf like that since the video. no change.

  • no, its like little shards of blue crytals, not in thier crystaline form, when you boil it in water they dissolve, and when you let it site they become crystaline again.

  • call hardware stores, copper sulphate root killer

  • true value hardware

  • can you carve, cut or shape the crystals with a knife??

  • no you cant

  • i like it when its sharp and pointy, what about growing a crystal in a forma of a knife ?

  • that is the crystals natural form

  • Send in some drones boys we just found some minerals!

  • Does the heating of the CuSO4 release any toxic gas cuz it's poisonous?

  • those cr=ystals are like from tiberium wars

  • I collect crystals but this is poisonous, so I prefer not to get one since I got pets and brothers.

  • Heh, I've managed some good sized ones ^^

  • where did you get the copper sulphate

  • from a drug-store.

when you make this(like me) u gonna be trully happy.

iv'e do this to one of my guitars( the body and headtock) and it look AWSOME!

    cheers

  • i just ordered 25 lbs of copper sulfate to try this madness. my plan is to use about .25 lb of it to do some test runs (really small crystals) and then amp it up to maybe using 1 lb of it..and if the 1 lb goes good, use the remaining like 23 lbs to make a giant one. That would be freakin awesome!

  • Just put immerse the rock in the solution? Don't have to hang it or something?

  • yeah i just set the rock in the solution.

  • you realy only have to hang it if you are starting with a seed crystal and you want it to grow uniformly

  • what do u mean seed crystal?

  • A seed crystal is a crystal hung by a string to grow larger in a saturated solution.

  • those crystals are only like 1£ each [there useless completely uterly fucking useless]

  • no said they were useful.

  • does it have to be sealed? cuz i like to touch my crystals (not sexually) and maybe make this into a necklace

  • no it doesnt have to be sealed but i dont think it would last long as jewelry

  • you dont have to sell them you know they are just cool to look at

  • take this into consideration tho. they may not be worth much. but imagin if u made a HUUUUGGGEEE one im talking fill a milk jug with the solution and drop a rock in... that my friend would not only look hella sweet but may be worth somthing

  • CREATIVE...

  • thats an awsome rock

  • what is mixed with CoSo4 To Make Those Crystals Agine?

  • just boiled in water, then let cool with a rock in the middle.

  • will copper (II) sulphate work?

  • I think thats that i used.

  • i dont because mine is green

  • green copper sulphate? might be nickel sulphate. but ive never seen green Copper ii Sulphate

  • it was in liquid form i just let some dry out and i turned a strange blue and green maze of long flat crystals.

  • It's possible that you have traces of Copper(I) Sulfate present. I'd try heat it a bit and get it anhydrous and then rehydrate them.

  • Maybe its is cos u mixed some iron with it?

  • i put mine on a necklace 4 my friend and he asked what would happen if heput it in his mouth -_- is it toxic to humans since its a root killer?

  • yes its toxic.

  • k thanks hopefully he didnt eat it....

  • You don't need to eat it to be harmed... Even touching it can cause irritation. It probably won't kill your friend though, but the crystal will become grayish and dull after a while if it's not in a sealed container, since the water will evaporate.
