This song is and will remain a political song to those in Zanu PF. Choppa was trying to tell our beloved Zanu leaders that we have waited for long for the land distribution to take place and we cant do it ourselves. So please lead the way and we follow suit. Viva Zanu, Choppa and Thanks to our Mighty God for giving us the only resource that makes us a people, that is the land. My memories go to all those who lost their lives in the struggle then and now. One love to all Zimbaweans.
Dzangove ndandariro'', reminds me of ndiri kuSt Theresa, kwaChiduku, kuDewedzo, kuMadzingidzi near the small town of Rusape. This place's topography is like a large bowl. It is surrounded by huge mts and large rivers, Nguve and Pauro. This land is a land of beauty. I remember tichibopa mombe tichienda kundorima, a million miles away from life in UK, Eastbourne. I really miss the life, the people, the food, the seasons and the general persona of the country.
hahaha u Chopper..Ngangimzonda ngisese yi boys back kobulawayo...I didnt know shit...Now wen i listen to his music it takes me back hme. Rest in peace mfethu.!
I know what u mean lami wasnt much into this music (it was always on Radio 2) as a kid but manje now that sengingedwa lapha i cant get enough of all types of zim music from way back!! Do u remember the one about imba isina window etc kinda like that one as well
Choppa anga akapenga. Of course, he was right. land redistribution is the right thing. The liberation war was fought for our rights and our land. Before colonisation, we used to be able to feed ourselves. But redu Bob rokukara ushe messed up. He just rushed into it, for short sighted political gain. He should have prepared the people for it, taught them modern farming methods, and provided them with financial and technical assistance. Akakanya. Nhasi torima nzara. Pasi na Bob, pamberi na Choppa!
I am glad there is someone else who has picked up the bit yeminda. He clearly says govai minda.........Choppa Choppa kani.......Choppa.....you left us cherished memories...RIP boss

Indeed vaChimbetu. We chase after so many things in life, thinking they will offer happiness and before we know it, our time on earth is gone.
