  • awesome book but with some prejudices. hope people will overcome prejudices that muslims are terorrist. some muslims are good people

  • This was the best book I have read in a long

    long

    time.

  • I just finished reading your book. You're biased my friend and you lied too much. Tell the truth about southern Sudanese communities. How can you claim that children do not know their biological mothers because men have more than one wife? You also claimed that SPLA was fighting for Dinka? You must be really mentally sick.

  • No, you read the book with a biased lens. If you're talking about children not knowing their parents, I remember that - it was because the girls were taken away at such a young age. It's made clear about halfway through that the SPLA do not fight for those who are poor or at the bottom of the "caste".

The uploader of the video has nothing to do with the writing of the book

  • Here is the quote please!! "Very young children in southern Sudan are very unsure who the birth mother is, so integrated are the wives and their children" (Achak 2006, 34). In page 34 you were talking about your family where you said that your mother is one of the six wives to your father. There are more bias remarks you made through out the book and I have label them with a sign that says 'Bullshit.'

  • WOW how ppl gonna say hes lying??? are u fucking kidding me? was u there no i dont think u were. Things are different in africa then in the U.S. if multiple people are taken care of a child that child might grow up confused. like i was sayin DID U GROW UP THERE? DID U WITNESS THESE THINGS TO B FALSE? DONT BE QUICK TO ASSUME SHIT WHEN U DONT NO SHIT. and what reason would he have to lie?

  • Amazing character. I want to help somehow.

  • The connection between Darfur and the Sudanese Civil War is rarely drawn. War is an occupation for some, and Darfur was another job.

Omar al Bashir has blood on his hands.

  • Just finished reading the book 'what is the what'. Valentino's story is incredibly moving and darkly unpredictable. Important stuff. The truth of our world laid bare.
