This is common practices among car manufacturers to make their car stand out among the competition. Edmunds already did a fair comparison; at the same track, same time and same parameteres neck to neck BMW 60 4.5 100 11.0 130 19.8 Chrysler 60 4.8 100 11.1 130 20.3 Comparisons can only be done at the same time with same track conditions. :)

You are confusing the 645i with the 650i. The 650i / 550i is actually 40 more HP and more torque than the x45 series.
Edmunds Review, Motortrend and Road&Track have all reported faster times for the 650/550 over the 300c SRT8. The numbers you have posted are the exact replica of the 645 and 545i times.

You cant dispute that a $100+K E60 M5 with a 500HP V10 would beat a $42K 300C SRT-8 with 425HP (assuming thats what this is).
Typically the Beemer is owned (and I've owned a few) by people who want luxury, status, and comfort.
Typically the SRT-8 is owned by people who want to experience the FEELING of RAW (untamed) power and the freedom and "rush" that affords you.
They are both great cars, but for 50% of the money I'd rather have 85% of the performance.
And its American :-)

300C is just the baddest looken ride ever... performance and handling should not really be a factor here if anyone would buy it they should buy it for the looks... My opinion anyways.

i have 8 other vids from the same night to all the people who dont think its a 650... and for all the pl whop dont think its a real srt8. MAYBE the driver didnt know how to drive. is that my fault? i didnt think so.

I just noticed that the camera car is YELLOW. Since when did they make a yellow 650?? This obviously was filmed in a different car and titled as a 650 to make it looks like a 650 could actually keep up with an SRT, which is CANT

The 650 is limited like all mainstream german cars to 155mph the chrysler 300c str8 is a big fuel guzzeling american car that can reach 168mph so such that you german badge lovers.

we had about 10 diff runs that night. all the other runs were head to head and then me pulling little by little. (i was in the 650) i guess the cameras dont prove anything these days either.

Uh huh. Either it was a 5.7 or he couldn't figure out his tranny because 650s don't trap at 108-110mph. That in no way reflects what would really happen.

Who called it fake? Only an M6 could do that. Either learn your cars, learn how to line up and race or teach the 300C owner about his transmission.
105mph trap speed cars do not pull on 108-110 cars. Basic physics.

1. Bimmerforums will laugh you off the internet.
2. 650s are SLOWER than C5 M6s, E39 M5s, CTS-Vs, LS2 GTOs AND SRT-8s.
3. Every reputable published test has the SRT-8 quicker and faster than the 550/650.
4. Gullible would be thinking a car with a 75hp deficit can beat a car only weighing 250lbs more.
5. Akessel - the 300C is a little softer the but the Charger handles as good as any 5series. Do some research first.

2. Some of that would be up to the driver
3. Without some results that you can show everyone that means nothing (I'm not saying I don't believe you)
4. that is a really ridiculous statement, once again it would depend on the driver (most probably)

Results - C&D, R&T, MT - slowest 13.3 @ 108mph with one obvious exception. Owners have run 12s @ 110mph stock.
The poster believed he beat the car - that's the point.
Handling - I'll amend the claim to V8/V10 5series. It's just slightly behind the CTS-V.
