You people kill me. Stop thinking of seductive as a sexual term. I said it was seductive as in "it sucks you into the song...as if it's hypnotizing" etc. Get your minds out of the gutter.
KT, where have you gone? I remember seeing these videos on VH-1 and immediatly fell in love with your voice and the stories you sang about. So many years later it's like I'm back in those early days and it feels so good. Thank you so much for the memories and the music that forever will remain timeless.
This is time capsule song. It so beautifully captures its period in our social history that it should live forever as representative of our generation (those of us who have reached a certain age). The great thing is that is also just a dynamite song. Bless you, K.T.
@Rastis35 Highly seductive? Then why are you watching it. I do not see any seduction only a few girls growing up in the real world. In real life situations.
I loved this as a teenager and now, at 42, am a few years younger than KT was here, and it all means so much more to me now, and I finally really know what she was talking about.
this song is pure genius and has so much meaning. It is pure perfection with it's lyrics! beautiful video that is full of reminicience.. one of my favorites!
She had the greatest videos. Cutting edge for country videos from the late 80s/early 90s. Just like mini movies. Few other videos from that era included dialogue throughout. I like how this ends with her going to the airport and I'll Always Come Back begins with her already at the airport talking about reunions and then catching the plane.
KT was the best showing that one can make it even during mid-life. You are truly and inspiration and a Class Act. I miss your music. I wish you could sing again. Love ya, KT. Texasboyroy.
CONNIE, YOU WERE ONE CRAZY LADY, BUT YOU WERE A 80'S LADY. DAMN, YOUR LOVING WAS SO GOOD. YOU WERE BORDERING ON PSYCHO, HUHMN. YOU STILL AGGRAVATE THE INTERIORS OF MY MIND.
She has the female voice of "George"...so when you think of spending a night sliding down Hwy 10 on a Silver Eagle with Luke, and George, and Hank... include KT.
It's been 32 years today since my best friend took his own life and I still can't get past it. I miss you, Brother. You will live on in my thoughts and my heart. Class of '84. Whomever was responsible for the making of this video and to K.T. Oslin for the lyrics and the sensational singing, I thank you.
tracy lynn i still havent figured out how to live without you! you were the pretty one, melissa the smart one, and yep i still havent got it right yet! thought i had it! but girl i cant wait to see you again. i miss you so much!
this song almost always gets a few tears in my eyes since the first time i heard it... kt's songs have so much heart in them. real life and real feeling. ain't no foolin' around :)
Who ever uploaded this pile of manure deserves to have their internet and music rights stripped from them and waterboarded, along with anyone who likes what I remember as the worst song on country radio in the late 80's.
I have this for one of my funeral songs.Open with Zakk- America acostical- then Ronstadt- Blue Bayou- one of those from Oh Brother- and closing- Three Birds by Marley. Oh yeah. But KT -thank you- this is me. I lost my son's father- Nam. 1968.

Growing up my parents ALWAYS listened to stuff like this like "Conway Twitty, Ronnie Milsap, Waylon Jennings, and Ronnie McDowell" My mom (R.I.P.) passed a little over 2 yrs ago and still love watching or listening to these classics and wish I could go back to when I was 10 or so and re-live those days.... I love you mom!!!
you were the best and your voice was amazing love ya KT i cry every time i hear one of your songs you were mine and my moms favorite i miss my mom so much!!!
Im 29 years old and this song remind me so much of being at my grandmother's house all the time. it reminds me of her being around. it played on the radio station all the time. I was also born in '81 so it makes me feel like an "80's lady. LOL. AWESOME SONG AND SHE SINGS IS VERY WELL. :)
This reminds me of my 2 sisters Ana and Alicia along with me ( angie) its the moral of the story..........How we will not let anything get in between us
This song also reminds my of my birth mom. I trace it back to ONE occasion, when she was singing along to it on the radio in the bathroom, doing her hair, and I was just watching her, spending time admiring her. I miss her and haven't heard this song in more than 15 years. thanks for posting nednickerson

@meagain1952 Thank you meagain1952. If the guys I work with knew I liked KT Oslin I would never hear the end of it. 'Hey Bobby' and "Eighties Ladies' always put a smile on my face and in my heart. Many thanks from Spurs country and The River Walk!
I cry too, southerncharm. So many years ago, so many mistakes - but I wouldn't take anything back, would you? This song takes me back to when I was 16 yrs old. Thought I knew it all. Oh boy, was I wrong, huh.
High school was wonderful this is me and my two best friends I believe that with all I am because this is exactly how life went...............would not change a thing...........I love you kerrie and tracy jean always will

Now I'm an older WOMAN... and this song makes me cry.
Thank you, K.T. Oslin!

KT Oslin was never accepted in "Country" music- she had a background on Broadway! Still she has a good country fanbase!
