Saw this tour. it was part of a Bicentennial celebration in Allentown, PA, USA. The lineup: Local band Chumby, Angel, Moxy, Leslie West Band and the headliner of course was Rainbow. Long Live Rock and Roll baby!!!!!!!!

Dio had incredible range and tone. Without a doubt, one of the greatest rock/metal frontmen ever. This is when rock music was composed, rather than nowadays where a song is based strictly on a single riff.

This is tantalizing footage. Holyfan, or anyone - Do you know if this entire concert is on video or DVD somewhere. This is the vintage era of the band - the same tour that yielded the "On Stage" performances from Japan. (It would be great if there was a DVD for that album.)

I would love to have live performances of "A Light IN The Black", "Stargazer", Cozy’s solo, etc, from this tour, If anyone knows where a full-concert video can be obtained, please let us know.

It is too bad they tore down the Houston Music Hall and the Sam Houston colesium. A lot of great music happened at those places. Has this footage ever been released? Does anybody recall what other band(s) were on the bill that night? R.I.P. Ronnie.
