Bar Rescue is a great show! I like this John Taffer. I'm not going to compare him to Ramsey, they're both good at what they know. I love how Taffer throws out all these stats. I mean, to see the man in action is great! He knows what he knows so well!

Some of these bars that they helped out went back to their bad habits after "Bar Rescue", & I bet they probably are on the verge of closing down again. Why do they NOT take this guy's advice seriously on how to resurrect their business is beyond me.

Not everyone is a "follower" person, some would want to follow their gut no matter how bad their previous setup was. Unfortunately in an industry where restaurants come and go, even if they follow Taffer's advice, it is not foolproof.

I think you are because this show is one of Spike's best ideas in many years and if they are going to somehow survive after UFC is gone, then this is one of the ways they do it.

@redmustang03 - except Ramsey's track record is horrible. In 5 season's of the kitchen nightmare show only 2-3 places are still open (and that's in England and the US). Hopefully bar rescue does a better job.

@2011blueman With shows like this, it is case of someone showing them the way, it is up to them to take the teaching and succeed by themselves. Every show like this is not going to have a perfect record. I hope all of Taffer's rescues succeed except for the Canyon Inn, lol
