This theme felt so epic. Even though it was obvious to you that the game wouldn't end yet, the party was prepared and sure that defeating Beldr once and for all would end it. The characters like Yuzu talked as if she was determined to end it all so they could live a normal life, what better way to express their emotions other than playing this epic theme for the first time.
Man Jezabele is hard to beat, but this music makes the demon boss's sound epic LOL This is Belial "This epic music makes me a hard char. to beat hahahaha!!!"
@CoolLatiasLatios Jezebel is actually one of the easier ones as long as you're prepared. Bring lots of demons and tamers with fire resistance/immunity and healing to counteract the lava pool, get in her face and wail on her with Holy Dance or Deathbound until she's dead.

I think the reason is b/c I hav not found the stratagy thats good yes. Also the other problem is that I dont have a monster that can bring back a char. from death at full health too (which keeps screwing me bad). Of course, if you did this in an official SMT game, well... sucks for whoever was playing the SMT game. Can't recruit if you don't negotiate, and you can't last very long if you're going through every battle at full throttle just to win (because you have to if you want to win...)
I remember Beldr popping out oh so suddenly on this Mission and as I looked at his stats I saw that his Immortal Racial skill was no joke and only one thing came to mind as I saw him:
@GuardianOfDandelions Wrong again. Dual Shadow isnt a Race Skill, its a passive skills that allows you to Attack (As in the normal attack) twice. Dual Shadow has the slight chance of attacking again, no matter what attack you do (whether its Mabufu, Zio, etc.) xD

I wonder if anyone notice this similarity. The Shin Megami Tensei Persona 3 MC is also a silent protagonist with blue hair and headphone and he's out to save the world too. (: the MC here and the MC in persona 3 is pretty similar, but I still love them both.
@Filipe304 Here as well. Persona 4 got me started, but it was Devil Survivor that made me love the MegaTen series even more. Hell, I even play MegaTen Imagine Online!
Its nice how you're just playing a normal mission, then this theme starts playing and Beldr pops in. And then you realize that whole"imortal" title was not just for show. Then you're thinking:

And when you finally beat him, the game is like "FUCK YOU" and pits you against even harder bosses who'll pound you into the ground.
To be honest I never beat the uber boss (forgot his name) that those crazy orange-wearing cultists summon up at some point. I thought monsters that could hit you from multiple tiles away were nasty, but the ENTIRE FIELD!? I gave up not long after. :(
Blaaaargh, well at least I finally know I didn't truly suck as much as I thought I did. Still a shame I could never finish it. I never found Lucifer and if he's even harder, I won't even bother haha. :D But it's still one of the most impressive DS games I've played so far!
@Stonezorz Oh sorry, Belberith isn't the final boss, but he's not too far away from him. The final boss is much harder heh. I meant that while the optional boss made Belberith seem weak, what was more impressive was that he made that last boss seem weak too.

i love the whole dark idea of this game death clocks trapped in an area trying to survive whoever made this game has a pretty messed up mind but i thank them for it : )
lol beating the bosses isn't all too hard. u just have give soul pretty high strength and Vitality. u just life surge+Pierce. life surge gives 30 or 40% more vitality and pierce let's u pierce theyr drains. then u can just a few death bounds that easily gives 400+ damage on every boss
Btw, which would be better on Belial; Ice Dance or Bufudyne cause I can use either 1, and with DarkJeral's idea, I use Pazuzu just for the chaos wave :P
As far as I learned.....ALL THE FUCKING DIFFICULT BOSSES ARE PHYS ABSORBERS NOW I HAVE TO RESTART TO AVOID CONSTANT FRUSTRATIONS!! I'm on Belzaboul first playthrough btw.
Well, I somehow got really close to beating him, my main character Skill-Cracked Pierce from one of the other monsters from that stage, and Amane Skill-Cracked Samarecarm from another, and I just kept on attacking while using Samarecarm on his monsters (And him, occasionally...) But for some reason, the maggots came and killed Amane... and my main character's health was already very low...
Stay out of his range (hit X on his sprite to see his atk range.) and kill all his minions, then fully heal and get your MP back with blood wine if possible, then rush him and fuck him up. Use almighty magic or physical attackers with pierce and deathbound or power hit.
you should have strong llvl 99 demonds by now then. i've beated lucifer a couple of nights ago. you will need a lot of magic power, and a lot of healers as a back up, also i recomend that you use the "drain" hability cuz the fucking devil depends a lot in his mp for attackin you. after that, it will regenerate 2 times, the last tiem you will have to pull out all your magic on him cuz he drains the phys attks. lol hope it hhelps :B
I actually did a strategy with Belial in order to defeat him I took him to one of the intersections with the three ways and I trapped him by using midori as bait, I picked someone who would be able to hurt him seriously, and then I trapped the sucker with my MC and used atsuro to lay the hurting with celebre and a heavy phys. lol I actually made a plan and it worked.
I'm stuck on the freaking second Bel. My hero (built him into a Mag-Vit tank) takes off about 3 pixels each time, but then he goes and attacks someone else and gets them all back! @#&@#*&%@#$!!!!
I just fought Beldr and man i got my ass handed. Everytime i fought an oponent one of my demons was always dying and I had to pick from the reserve.
I was REALLY close to beat him, only MC and Keisuke left, MC attacking and barely surviving while Kei was healing like crazy with Jack Frost and Pyro Jack...
Then the demons respawned and started to heal Beldr -.-
Next time he will have to face my renewed team with two Hime's (Because I WILL need those Recarm xD)
Yes, I'm talking about the first Bel that you fight, Beldr.
Beated him yesterday on my third try. On the second my Kikure-Hime ran out of MP quite fast due to Atsuro dying alot, He killed me when he only had 1 pixel of left.
Leveled Atsuro and Keisuke a bit (the weak links of my team) a bit and on my third try, being that those to could actually kill something this time, was much easier.
I heard this song so much on Gin/Haru's path. @_@;; It was worth it, though. I did Yuzu's path first, and got Loki, and slapped him and Ameterasu on Yuzu, and then it was pretty much 1hit's all around. Megidalaon + Holy Dance= Win. I gave Yuzu 'Grace' and a bunch of MP boosts, so the damage that was getting done to her was pretty much VOIDED. Amerterasu was doing like, 800+ a hit with Holy Dance.
By the time you get to him, you should have access to Hecate, Bufudyne, and maybe a Mitama. I recommend fusing the blue Mitamas with Hecate to get its magic up, then try to get bufudyne on it (it knows Mediarahan also) (: That's how I defeated him, at least... be careful though, because he can hit 3 times in a row... and if he gets an extra turn, that's a total of 6 hits per battle XD Oh yes, and drain helps tremendously with boss fights XD
in fact most of the Bel battles are easy once you know how to handle them =S , for my first time against jezebel I went directly for him crossing the lava , and well , wiped... but with a chaos wave demon and a good team you can even 1turn him
The hard part yet for me is when you fight the FIVE bels in a row
Hmm, I don't remember the exact stats (since I started a new game), but he was level 67, with his best skill being magic, at level 31 or 32. (: I used a Tyrant demon (Loki), as well, because it recovers a little bit of MP at the end of each battle, which allowed me to continually use my skills XD Both of the demons I used had Samerecarm, in case one of them died. I think I could've probably done the entire last battle with just my main character XD
Amazingly good, despite not being a work of Shoji Meguro.

lol beating the bosses isn't all too hard. u just have give soul pretty high strength and Vitality. u just life surge+Pierce. life surge gives 30 or 40% more vitality and pierce let's u pierce theyr drains. then u can just a few death bounds that easily gives 400+ damage on every boss

Btw, which would be better on Belial; Ice Dance or Bufudyne cause I can use either 1, and with DarkJeral's idea, I use Pazuzu just for the chaos wave :P

As far as I learned.....ALL THE FUCKING DIFFICULT BOSSES ARE PHYS ABSORBERS NOW I HAVE TO RESTART TO AVOID CONSTANT FRUSTRATIONS!! I'm on Belzaboul first playthrough btw.

Well, I somehow got really close to beating him, my main character Skill-Cracked Pierce from one of the other monsters from that stage, and Amane Skill-Cracked Samarecarm from another, and I just kept on attacking while using Samarecarm on his monsters (And him, occasionally...) But for some reason, the maggots came and killed Amane... and my main character's health was already very low...
BTW, my main character's demons are:
Seiten Tensei (With Pierce)
Yaksa (With Pierce)

Stay out of his range (hit X on his sprite to see his atk range.) and kill all his minions, then fully heal and get your MP back with blood wine if possible, then rush him and fuck him up. Use almighty magic or physical attackers with pierce and deathbound or power hit.

you should have strong llvl 99 demonds by now then. i've beated lucifer a couple of nights ago. you will need a lot of magic power, and a lot of healers as a back up, also i recomend that you use the "drain" hability cuz the fucking devil depends a lot in his mp for attackin you. after that, it will regenerate 2 times, the last tiem you will have to pull out all your magic on him cuz he drains the phys attks. lol hope it hhelps :B

Evil Wave + Ice Dance + Ice Jump/Boost = ded Belial
As long as you can get the upper hand and keep it, you'll not get nailed, nor will Life Aid kick in for you. Tyranny and/or Double Up helps a lot.
Now all I have to do is beat Anaiel and Sariel. Gaaaaaaaaah.....

I actually did a strategy with Belial in order to defeat him I took him to one of the intersections with the three ways and I trapped him by using midori as bait, I picked someone who would be able to hurt him seriously, and then I trapped the sucker with my MC and used atsuro to lay the hurting with celebre and a heavy phys. lol I actually made a plan and it worked.

I'm stuck on the freaking second Bel. My hero (built him into a Mag-Vit tank) takes off about 3 pixels each time, but then he goes and attacks someone else and gets them all back! @#&@#*&%@#$!!!!

I just fought Beldr and man i got my ass handed. Everytime i fought an oponent one of my demons was always dying and I had to pick from the reserve.
I was REALLY close to beat him, only MC and Keisuke left, MC attacking and barely surviving while Kei was healing like crazy with Jack Frost and Pyro Jack...
Then the demons respawned and started to heal Beldr -.-
Next time he will have to face my renewed team with two Hime's (Because I WILL need those Recarm xD)

Yes, I'm talking about the first Bel that you fight, Beldr.
Beated him yesterday on my third try. On the second my Kikure-Hime ran out of MP quite fast due to Atsuro dying alot, He killed me when he only had 1 pixel of left.
Leveled Atsuro and Keisuke a bit (the weak links of my team) a bit and on my third try, being that those to could actually kill something this time, was much easier.

I heard this song so much on Gin/Haru's path. @_@;; It was worth it, though. I did Yuzu's path first, and got Loki, and slapped him and Ameterasu on Yuzu, and then it was pretty much 1hit's all around. Megidalaon + Holy Dance= Win. I gave Yuzu 'Grace' and a bunch of MP boosts, so the damage that was getting done to her was pretty much VOIDED. Amerterasu was doing like, 800+ a hit with Holy Dance.

Oh yes, one more very important thing...
Make sure you have a few demons who know recarm, and you have a few divine demons (for blood wine). Running out of MP = eventual death XD

By the time you get to him, you should have access to Hecate, Bufudyne, and maybe a Mitama. I recommend fusing the blue Mitamas with Hecate to get its magic up, then try to get bufudyne on it (it knows Mediarahan also) (: That's how I defeated him, at least... be careful though, because he can hit 3 times in a row... and if he gets an extra turn, that's a total of 6 hits per battle XD Oh yes, and drain helps tremendously with boss fights XD

in fact most of the Bel battles are easy once you know how to handle them =S , for my first time against jezebel I went directly for him crossing the lava , and well , wiped... but with a chaos wave demon and a good team you can even 1turn him
The hard part yet for me is when you fight the FIVE bels in a row

Then again, my main character had Holy Dance, Megidolaon, Drain, Anti-all, Victory Cry, Life Surge, and Grace equipped ;D

Hmm, I don't remember the exact stats (since I started a new game), but he was level 67, with his best skill being magic, at level 31 or 32. (: I used a Tyrant demon (Loki), as well, because it recovers a little bit of MP at the end of each battle, which allowed me to continually use my skills XD Both of the demons I used had Samerecarm, in case one of them died. I think I could've probably done the entire last battle with just my main character XD
