Im not a fan of country song much, but as Adam said, this guy is just AMAZING. he doesnt look like he's trying hard yet the honesty just comes across every time he sings. He's the pure voice. Singing for his mother and for the rest of us.

This was a plea for the sympathy vote. Jeff lost his mom a few years ago and he sang a song that got him through the tough times. We admire that. We like this kid. We like this idea, even. But this just did not work. He may have been nervous, but he missed a lot of notes. And it was one of the Top 5 Most Depressing Songs You Can Sing in Public.

I'm sorry, but I cannot agree with people saying he's trying to get "sympathy votes". He's doing this for his mom, so yes, he's going to want to mention her before every song. In the blind auditions, many of the contestant were introduced with a struggle in their life, and this was his.

Anyway, as devastated as I was to see Jeff go, I realized it was all a sly play on Adam's part, because he was going to do anything in his power to get a sure win for Javier anyway. And he did just that.

His pick was just about who he could use to make sure Javier moved on. Jeff was to liked (why is beyond me) so it was between Devon and Casey. Casey is the better singer of those two and her single was selling on iTunes, so she became his pick.

Honestly, I have been following these SINGING competitions and its always the best voice that NEVER gets picked. Its all a popularity contests and young girl VOTERS.

Regardless of the outcome... JEFF HAS THE BEST VOICE IN "THE VOICE."

Unfortunately... Javier will move on with Casey because that's what ITUNES report.

In conclusion.. This is will the last "RIGGED, POPULARITY VOTE" singing competition I will ever watch.

Don't call the show rigged because your favorite might be going home. This isn't Idol. Tween girls are obviously a non-factor here as the "cute guys" aren't making it through and real voices are.

So real singers get a shot at a record deal instead of cute and hot faces. Jeff is really good but i do fear for him since Casey does so well on Itunes. Id hate to see him being eliminated. Casey does have that cute factor + she can sing well. Javier is through no matter what. Though i think he is a bit overrated.

I think Jeff lost a lot of support on Tuesday for his sub-par performance and obvious attempt at gaining sympathy votes. Which is why the first time Jeff mentioned his mother in the blind auditions I understood his reasons. But there comes a point where speaking about your loss on a show like this can look like a ploy to get votes. In a matter of the three minutes he had on screen mom came up twice. He didn't seem sad just minutes before when joking backstage.

@babbina yep. He gave him the weakest compition in the begining, then he got rid of Jeff so it wouldnt hurt javiers votes, then put him agaisnt Casey (though talented) much weaker then Javier. Gave her a very VERY difficult song to sing, then gave javier a huge amount of points, while the other judges basicly let the audience decide. He made sure of it. again it's his team so he can do what he sees fit. He just obvousily wants to win and javier has the voice and the so called "look" we love
