Lol I agree even though I've only tried ONE other video. It was WAY too fast and too difficult to follow. This video, however, was perfect! I still need 4 more achievements on this game, but I should get them soon without much hassle. Basically I just have to finish clearing W2 and W3.

I used this video before and it worked but for some reason Im trying it again to help a friend get the trophy and I lost 3 crystals on wave 18 and Im 99% sure I placed everything exactly the way you did oh well time to start over :P

I don't remember exactly, but I guess it took 1 or 2 days for new ideas and fine tuning the old ones wave by wave.

This works 100%. Make sure your amount of coins matches the videos before each round.

No, it's not luck based, but some waves can be extremely sensitive about having the correct placement and levels for the units. If even a single unit is slightly off the spot, the enemy will most likely get through. And yes, you CAN compensate by over upgrading your units if you have the gil available, but then you'll probably run out of money during the end game, or you won't be able to stop another kind of wave, (like upgrading only mages and then later facing magic resistant waves)

I'm pretty sure i placed all exactly like you did and still one bomb survived what i did was level up my Archer and i managed to do it, the rest of waves afterwards was no problem so maybe you should mention leveling up Archer by another level in wave 9 still thanks for the video

@xAshe10x I tried doing this and experienced the one bomb escaping, then i realized what the problem was... In the video he lets it run at normal speed for the last few moments, the first time i tried i held down the speed up all the way through and the one bomb escaped. The only thing different i did the next time was get off the speed near the end and that bomb died. Pretty crappy huh?

I've got a 360 and I followed this guide. It works perfectly.

I did mess up at one point where I upgraded my time mage to level 4 before I was supposed to, but it still worked fine and I got the achievement/ trophy.

o i didnt mess up on wave 18 it was 11, it might b jus for xbox live but i tried it more than once on wave 11 and kept messing up so i just stuck a soldier at the top and lvl it up to 3 and everything was fine all way through :D

This worked for me on the first attempt on PS3. Thanks a lot for the vid. Watching which units get upgraded was a little tricky to watch, maybe have the picture pause for a couple of seconds for us to hit pause, so we can make sure haven't missed any of the units. But without this video, I would never have gotten the good samaritan trophy so thanks!

This did not work for me, at all I had to change a few things like the first archer start it 1 level higher than he does. It will only cost you 30 gill per round, sometimes only 10 but his levels are all screwed up. Thank you for the vid, even though it did not work for me the placement was perfect.

For those who can't get this strategy to work: Make absolutely sure the unit positions are as in the video. All units occupy a 2x2 square, right? All the units are either right next to each other, or there is a 2x2 gap between them. There are no 1x2 or 2x1 gaps, and even on the lone units (like the later archers) such a misplacement might cost you the wave (i've seen it happen elsewhere). Also, don't overupgrade the units beforehand.

This works also with the PSP version (I tried).

@beatpeitsi - That's really got me because on Wave 18 with the Ice Flan I can't tell if the Time Mages are right next to the Black Mages or an extra space away like you said if they're not in the specific location it could screw up, I swear I remember trying this strategy and I ended up losing a couple of crystals maybe for that reason...

From my experience there's no difference between the versions. The PSP and PS3 versions are virtually the same, and after I tried to use another video for Good Samaritan based on the 360 version: There are hardly any differences.
