I got a light action and an ultralight action rod in my collection. The only times I use them is for bream and crappie fishing. And I use them for croaker fishing when they're not in season and I need some small croakers for live bait.

I'm always just scared using light rods because all I can think is that somehow I actually get lucky and catch a big fish :-)

Hey Dan have u ever heard of Sonny's Super Sticky dip bait. If not u aught to try it out it works great for rivers and creeks as well as lakes and ponds. Me and my grandfather fish sangamon river frequently and Sonny's always produces in the warmer months my grandpa even landed a 45 pounder with it. U should give it a try

Dip attracts alot of young cats, maybe some good sized ones. But the real mature ones are more picky, and go for mackeral,anchovies,chicken liver anything that smells bad, but yea very good video Dan u make want to go fishing right now
