if you (d3mars5) knew about cars at all, you'd know that aero dynamics are a very small factor when the difference between the 2 is 200+bhp,

ford here in australia make very different fords to what you get in america,

the one i was mentioning was the ford FG F6 Typhoon, 13.3 second quarter mile from the factory, not bad for a 6 cylinder 4 door family car

at this point, australia is the only place you can get these fords too

the ford here in australia uses an aussie built in-line 6, the engine your tarus uses is a jaguar v6,

originally we were going to ditch the straight 6 for the same v6 but ford just decided to amp up the straight 6 to 310kw (410hp)

we only have the old tarus, the new one i dont think will be released here,

and i think they will be ditching the straight 6 engine sometime in the future, for a 4-cylinder...

i will never buy one if they do!

Firstly, its not a Jeep, and while the HP is higher in the Patrol, it also easily weighs over 2000kg. Either way, to have a large 4x4 that can beat a car like that would be great.
