@godofmetal22 Quite different. Less realistic on a few things (very hard to stall, damage model quite simple...) but more complicated on others (handling the radar, the SAM´s, very faulty missiles...). Also its very different the combat with big jets like the F-4 against the more nimble Mig-17 or the fast Mig-21. Different times, different tactics.

I must say with WoV Gold campaign this game is extremely awesome and very challenging.

@godofmetal22 Well, off course its a matter of taste. Some people like the old props from WW2, some like actual modern jets killing targets 20 miles away...thankfully flight sims are quite alive these days and offer a lot of options. For anyone and everyone.

@bfahren yup i luv both acually modern day combat seems to easy cause you just send a nuke and blow everything up and sometimes you acuall4 fight gun to gun, ww2 was a little different cause you didnt really have such powerful weapons and stuff like that it was either dogfighting or ground combat and i love flight simulator its so fun all my knowledge on planes come from flight simulater and books

This doesn't run on vista but does it run on windows 7? My xpsp3 PC has a gfx card that is too new for wings over vietnam but I have a new vista that might be able to play it. Fat chance right.

that's weird...your orbital(F-6) cam is sightly different from mine...in sequences of Thud and Skyrider they're apparently looks much better.

for example... in A-1 napalm sequence it gives a special effect focus in plance.

btw, if it isn't ask too much, could you share with me your viewlist.ini ?
