The game had a cool premise but poor execution. Don't get me wrong, it was entertaining to say the least but the same thing in every level was boring. You fight a horde of enemies in one room and then go to another room to repeat the same thing. If the enemies just came out at you like they do in DMC, GOW, Ninja Gaiden, or Bayonetta then this game would be a lot better.

I hated that it actually took ages to get from one room to another, and the voice acting was plain bad. Other than that I actually enjoyed the game. Those who say that this is a really really bad game are just used to mainstream crap and such. This is actually pretty good for a small company such as Gaijin Enternainment. Yeah there are alot of things that could've been done better but hey, I'm sure that if this game will get an expansion (they're making one) it will be awesome. Hopefully.

X blades 2 will more than likely not come out since of all the bad reviews it gets people since it is a button mashing kind of game, but if they do make a sequel, it won't come out for awhile since it was made in 2009, maybe sometime in late 2010 or mid 2011 Xblades 2 will come out (if it does :P)

It's funny how Devil May Cry 4 is entirely repetitive, and Nero is Vergil, but Capcom clearly can't do a storyline properly now, Resident Evil 5 blondie Jill being the other example....

But yet this game gets bashed continuously, I find that funny. I gladly paid $30 for this game, and got my $30 out of it. It's not perfect, but still this is a decent game, and the theme song is awesome! =D

I've been very curious of this game for a couple of months now but I haven't seen any reviews and some places are selling it cheaper than usual. Really don't whether to get it, I know I will eventually but The Lost and Damned looks more tempting. Still...this is a bloody amazing theme tune! Up there with Portal and Mirror's Edge.
