I've left a possible solution on the forum. Sounds like a missing throttle side needle retaining clip I also one had after changing an engine and carb.

MrCozij, it's the Kitaco 20mm standard carb, no mods.

Yes the forum seemed to crash and my post disappeared. I've re posted it now under engines and tuning.

I can't find your post on monkeyrun now. Are you using a dax carb with a fuel tap built in @ the bottom?
