  • So glad to see a black gay couple represented. Too many people act like same-sex marriage is not an issue for black gays and lesbians. I personally know several couples who got married before Prop 8 passed and are now having their marriages threatened.

    I wish ads like this would have run before Nov. perhaps the outcome would have been different.

One of the reasons we participated in this wonderful project is because you hardly ever see our demographic represented whether in ads or articles about gay men. We wanted to let the black community see that when they vote for measures like Prop 8 they are voting for discrimination of their own brothers & sons & daughters.   • I totally agree with you. I think people fear what they don't know. They've been taught hatred since their early years, and were told to stay away from homosexuals. But when they see how normal we go about our daily lives, it'd expose the lies they were told. I pray for full marriage rights in all states.

  • Amazing video Cas and Ricky! You have a beautiful family and you all deserve the same civil legal rights and benefits as any other couple that is joined in a civil marriage.

    I hope that Prop. 8 is taken down and fairness and equality is raised UP!!!

    Civil rights should NEVER be voted on!
