Its actually still Mel's diner...Pats restuarant is 2 doors down from mel's at the intersection......I live not to far from it...you can google map street view it and see the outside of Mel's and the coffee mug sign :)

I remember those old 1970's shows like "Alice", "One Day At a Time", "Carol

Burnett", "Welcome Back Kotter", "Que Pasa USA", "Mary Tyler Moore Show",

"Incredibe Hulk", "Mork and Mindy", "Happy Days", "Laverne and Shirley", "Gong

Show" and I realized I was watching too much TV at the time.....lol
