  • 6:50 She has really clear intonation. A bit of Chinese accent showing through but, you can tell she's focused on accent with the way she uses "th" and vowels. Some people can spend 20 years with a language and not get this sort of thing down.

  • It's a shame that language can be such a barrier preventing people from progressing, but their drive to learn the language and give their children a head start is really admirable.

  • In the end, it doesn't matter what language it is.

    All that matters is that everyone can communicate with everyone else.

    English just happens to be a convenient standard.

  • We need to speak one international language.

    I don't care which one it'd be, i have no prejudices against languages.

    And since programming and scientific languages are de-facto english, it only makes sense to learn it.

    I cannot really understand reasons for rejecting a tool that would allow you to communicate with people of any other nationality.
