I know it's such an obvious trick, but I'm always sticking my letters stickers on crooked. Thanks for showing that trick w/ the ruler. I'm sitting here saying to myself "DUH". :P
aprx how much did every tool and paper and stickers and flowers, etc cost? im 15 and i wanna make a scrapbook of my recently passed cat of her entire life, i dont have much money so could you point out maybe the basic things i might need? (other than paper)
@hollistergurlly To get started you really just need paper, a paper trimmer and a good journaling pen. If you want to get a few extra things, some journaling stamps {stamps with lines} and an ink pad would be good. You can also look around at home for some things like buttons or even like your cat's collar to include in the album.
@hollistergurlly you might ask for supplies for xmas and birthday presents. also, you can buy flourish or butterfly stamps. stamp these where you want them. then draw your journaling lines with a gel pen. just some idea's.
Did you ever talk about the process you used to paint your ATG gun in a video? I know you said you did it, but I haven't seen any details about that... thanks, Teresa
There are no videos relating to my ATG. There is a step-by-step tutorial on my blog with photos, though. YouTube doesn't allow links in the comments, but my blog address is on my channel page & the posts about the ATG were in May 2009.
Another great video and mini in the making! Lovin' all the butterflies of course, tee hee! :-) Thanks for taking us on his journey Kathryn! hugs, Arlene :-)
I really do love watching you do your thing Kathryn! You are so skilled! It is always a real pleasure to watch and learn from you! Thanks very much!...Nancy :o)
Thanks, Hope! :D I love all your videos, too! I can;t wait to see your next creation ~ crossing my fingers that there will be a "thick & chunky" video soon!
HA HA HA!!! Do you know what you have done to me with "THICK and CHUNKY"? I can't see straight. I just walk around mumbling "THICK and CHUNKY, THICK and CHUNKY, I need to make it THICKER and CHUNKY-ER!!!! :-)
Oh my goodness, Kathryn, I need to pay attention to the "warning" sign that says "read content before posting comments". I intended to start by saying what a cute album, I need to do a cute and more tailored album like this next time.
I'll blame it on the migraine I had last weekend. LOL
Kathryn, can you share with me your process in preparing for a mini book? I would love to know, you are just so organized, I can tell from watching you work. All the stuff is right there at your finger tips.............I am a big mess right now, meaning my scrappy room.I think I know what the problem is: I have too much stuff! I would love to know your secret in preparing. Hugs, Velma
Velma, I have a video series where I show how I get ready for a mini book. It's the engagement mini album series & in the first video I talk about how I prepare. I can't give you the link because YouTube doesn't allow links in the comments section ~ not even to YouTube videos. But it is Part One of my engagement mini album series that you're looking for. Hope that helps!
I love watching you work! You make everything look so simple to do, I end up with a huge mess. I love watching you also use your craft knife. I finally bought one like yours and will try it out. Haven't found one I like yet so I got the one you told us about from another video! I love this mini, I love your flowers! Hugs, Velma
i am loving the shape of this album and i love the idea of glossing the butterflies on the paper!! FABULOUS!!!!! can't wait for part two, sending you hugs from cornwall in the uk!!
