Very nice. Actually I could have just listened to the cat playing the Telecaster. Wow!!! What a great tone and great playing. Not that the other dude has no chops.....but I wasn't real fond of that rhythm. Anyway.....very nice for sure.
@hotfudgemoney thats how you play blues and rock n roll babay! straight from the guitar into the amp! cant stand these guitar players nowa days that use a bunch of pedals for blues music. i do it the same way as these 2 guys here and when i play out, i get more compliments than the other guitar player whome uses a $500 effects board!
@1960sBluesFan Thanks. At the time of this video, one amp has the Jensens (tele) and one has the jensens (les paul), which have just been replaced with eminence.
Is that the Allman Bros.? Dude, this is a timewarp and I'm in 1972. Sounds good, though. I hope you guys live like it's 1972 and not just have that well put together "look". Hippie-Retro chic, man. I hope we're trippin' and smokin' lots of dope and not text messaging each other asd shit like that. I dig it, though.
Ha! Gotcha. Good jam, though. It's good to see white guys playing the black man's music but the GOOD black man's music and not fucking mindless, intellectually draining rap. Good 'ol white interpretaion of the blues and good 'ol fashioned rock and roll....which is dead.
By the way...is the name of your band, "Lions in the Street" a reference to the Jim Morrison poem "Lions in the street

No pedals eh? You guys driving those amps the old fashioned way? The camera gets pretty good sound if that's the case.
hotfudgemoney 1 year ago
@hotfudgemoney Yeah, good sounding camera. No pedals, no.

Love it very clapton/betts like. What were your settings on the bassman and does it have the eminence blue frames or the jensen reissues.
