For "Times Square on New Year's Eve 2009", the Wednesday, December 31, 2008 New Year's Eve leading into Thursday, January 1, 2009, Bill and Hillary Clinton pushed the button with the mayor. This was the fourth year they've played "Imagine" in Times Square after Dick Clark's stroke(the show was renamed "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest"), for 2008-2009, the ABC building said its words, "ARE YOU READY?" and "ARE YOU SURE?" during the last 30 seconds of 2008.

I was there at one of the rear pens. Got bits and pieces of videos of the countdown and a bit of other things, but I was fairly disappointed at my videos because my hands were so numb from the cold. A truly incredible experience nonetheless and I hope to come back someday.
