i always play a guitar part all the way through! if i play through even 5 minutes of the song and then mess up, ill start everything over again, so its more organic! So i played the first guitar all the way through, and i added the second guitar, the "backwards" guitar, on top of that!

im sure that Jimi pretty much did it the same way =)

A Fuzzface isn't really distortion compared to what distortion can be. It's what Jimi Hendrix used all the time. It sounds so alike that I just thought that you might have used the same.
