It would of been even a bit interesting if the giant fireball required you to repeatedly hit the trigger once you grabbed it to slow it down, while at the same time ur bar is dropping so you have to stop it before you get exhausted, then you can fire at will, you know, instigate some sort of presence into its giant fireball of deathness, alls I'm saiyan.

there are boss fails, where the boss mops the floor with you, and there are fail bosses, where the boss may as well have never existed in the first place.

Needless to say, this boss appears to be of the latter category.

It's offical, Sonic '06 was trying to go for the Mario approach. The Iblis fights and Princess Elise were proof of that.

Sadly, the game failed miserably at said approach.

ok, ok look i've said this several times to people i know but it bares repeating, if they made it so the Sonic characters weren't in their vehicals outside of Eggman and Amy people would still complain, you know why? because none of the other characters would stand a chance and even if they limited the speed Sonic, Shadow, Metal Sonic, ect. can run it would end up like Mario and Sonic in the Olympic games where people complained about Sonic running slower than normal

Good use of the Motorcycle in Shadow the Hedgehog, chasing the tank. It moves at the perfect speed so you can easily gun the thing down. Also, you're invincable on vehicles, they have their own health. The only bad thing is that you automatically swap weapons while on them.

Your not suppose to attack those purple ball things your suppose to pick them up. Although this is the correct way it is not the right was since when you attack an enemy or just use anything using your powers, you will lose the ball and the light in about 5 seconds, maybe 10 if you try not to lose it............so yeah you were doing it right.........ignore them and move on!

Adventure's controls are actually pretty damn good. It wasn't until Sonic Heroes that Sonic's control started getting slippery--they got rid of the Adventure 2 engine and developed Heroes on Renderware, which caused gameplay quality to drop quite sharply. '06's engine was even worse than that.

Adventure felt too loose, Adventure 2 felt too tight, Heroes and Shadow were even looser, and 06... Ugh. 06.
