He always says if you feel depressed to get help and never resort to violence. I'd say Gerard is very respectable and mature, he has helped alot of people and always has good advice to give. As for the singing, that's a matter of your opinion. I like his voice.

Funnily enough, I don't think like an American idol judge, I'm actually a singer myself in a band. I know that not everyone can perform as they do on the record, studio recordings are far superior. But, you do expect to keep a vague similarity in it and my opinion is, gerald doesn't because it's so over produced in the studio. It's tweaked so much with autotune, that when's it's played live he sounds shocking. No debate about it really. It's not hard to tell.

A couple of things I noticed in this video. 1. They are all wearing the same Black Parade Uniform. Normally they have their own special coat. For example Frank's sleeves have stripes on them, and there is a cross in the stripes. Mikey always has a long coat he even had one in this video. 2. Gerard looks anxious to leave. At about :30 it looks like he is saying "Fuck, can we get this over with." I could be wrong. Oh and 3. Gerard is a wearing an awesome black scarf. I want one like that.

Either you expect too much from him, or you are one those people that think everybody sings awful live, and the studio version is much better. Here's how I look at it, Gerard puts on A GREAT performance, he changes the songs up, I don't expect a BETTER than studio singing, no I just think he does a freakin' awesome job all around. He wasn't his best in this video but some of the other videos he does fucking awesome. I don't think like an American Idol judge. I think like a good MCR fan.
