Yes that can be true - you ASSUME (making an ass out of u and me) that those are mutually exclusive. I'm sure some of the minority students are NOT low income and some of the low income are NOT minority. HA HA
LULZ DSST STD! When I walked into the school everyday for class It makes me want to say wow who designed this cause he or she missed a couple of spots
A school environment that is up to date and is pleasing to be around will draw more and more interest within a student public. It's cool. I wish that I had an opportunity to work there or to have been a student there.
@ndfootballch not all school are building in this way... most of them in the third world are houses based convert into school, you should have plenty of money for aspire one of this school... and also public school are not design in this way in usa or europe because are based in 40's school models... so is not an assumption to say "All school should be designed for learning"
CONSTANT CROSS-DISSOLVES ARE EXCRUCIATINGLY ANNOYING.
I cannot stress this enough. Lay off the cross-dissolves. You may think that it makes your building look dynamic and interesting, but that is because you have seen it before. The rest of us can't tell what's going on.
You probably paid some videographer to do this, but next time, tell him to use more than 10% hard cuts. Seriously.
Amazing what can happen when we begin to factor in all that goes into learning. It is not an event but an experience. We must clean up the mess we created so we can give the children a chance.
Its not only about the teachers and the curriculum (which IS more central to the success of this school than the building) its about an environment that supports academic inquiry with properly designed space, nurtures social relationships in a comfortable places for meeting and greeting (non-existent in 99% of our schools), and communicates to all that enter that the intrinsic value of people, young and old. Bravo!

Inspiring architecture, however the most important factor in education is and remains the teacher. :-)
