Sorry for the many responses :) I forgot to say we booked the hairdresser from the hotel a few days before when we arrived she was really good!

At night the have disco's and themed entertainers (we had Mauritian musicians, drummers and dancers on our wedding night it was amazing!) really family friendly place, great little pool etc, only thing I would keep an eye out for is sellers on the beach and wouldn't recommend doing anything hotel hasn't recommended as you never know, although they are all friendly and don't pester you if you say no thanks, oh and the free bar is great :) barely ordered off the inclusive menu!

No problem glad to help! Unfortunately don't know name of photographer, we booked him in advance with Thomas cook (though he is the hotel photographer and not TC specific) we called the hotel before hand from England might be worth a quick call to find out. In terms of excursions we only did the fishing as we were only there a week but loads to do bookable from hotel, the hotel does a lot of family games in the day in the hotel and on the beach, there us also all the aqua sports which was great!

Also re photographer they supplied a professional photographer who was great and took some lovely pictures (he took hundred of photos and made us an album to take home and DVD with pics on), they do supply a video too but the price was a little to much for us,

@chucknorrisuk excellent thank you so much!! do you know the name of photography company they use so i can request sample albums etc. are the excursions expensive?? we're travelling with a 4yr old and 1 yr old so we're looking for things that would appeal to all of us!! also sorry to be a pain but did yu have tohe hairdresser before you left arrange for t uk or did you do it on site?? thanks again!! x

Apart from wedding day - food is great if you font like something on that themed night just ask waiter to cook you something up seperstely they really don't mind, if you want to go on excursions the hotel can plan thus for you (we went marlin fishing off north coast) you really will have a great time, the staff are really lovely, good luck for your wedding!

We asked one of the staff to hold the camcorder and made the film ourselves, tips - too many to mention! Your Wedding day will be effortless staff will plan everything with you in advance, they hired a great hairdresser and makeup for my wife on the big day, make sure you take all the required ID to be able to get married (you will spend a day being chauffeured around Mauritius to sort the paperwork out but it's easy peasy)

You are more than welcome :) the hotel is absolutely lovely, the staff couldn't do enough for us and really made us feel special for the whole week, we will defo be going back in the future! good luck in December!
