representin' Obama....that's still a lot of people in Texas....but compared to Oregon on May 18, 2008 - 72,000 people at waterfront park...only 60,000 fit in.....that is the biggest rally
everyone who is asking if he can walk the walk, we all voted for bush because he talked the talked, but did he walk the walk, he promised us a better future and look what happened, my vote is definitely going for OBAMA. OBAMA 08.
This is massive grassroots support for Senator Obama that the mainstream media doesn't focus on. This is real, not the early national polls which are all but meaningless. Every time I listen to Obama & envision him as our president, it fills me with optimism that he will right the wrongs perpetrated by the Bush regime, and bring social justice to us and restore our standing in the world. No other candidate has his ability to unite the world. Let's work to get him elected!
20,000 people come to see Obama... this is incredible grassroots support! This is what is real, not the early national polls which are all but meaningless. Senator Obama is that rare leader who comes once in a generation. He brings to the table...wisdom, vision, charisma & compassion. He will bring social justice & restore our standing in the world. No other candidate has his ability to unite the world. If the world could vote, Obama would win a resounding victory.
He might get my vote, if he has some policies comparable to his slick delivery. I wait in anticipation for the later stages of the campaign and hopefully deeper revelations on what he actually stands for. Ron Paul also tickles my interest, I have to say.
I am utterly disgusted in the liberal vs. conservative crap. The government currently consists of big political babies out to prove each other wrong and to prove who is the most educated, all the while Americans and U.S. soldiers suffer the consequences. Sen. Obama is different. Who else can pull a dem./rep. vote?
sorry capedconservcrusader, Jesus was a made story for western to better conquer the world using religion. It is the same story as Santa goes down your chimney at Christmas to drop you gift when you are a good Boy. You have been brain washed in thinking that Jesus will ever come back.
Maybe so. But just WHAT IF I'm right and you're the one that's wrong?
When the poo poo hits the fan, you will bow down at the very mention of the name the Lord of Lords and King of Kings and cry for mountains to fall on you for your stupidity...and you may remember that you had an opportunity.
This is the type of guy we need. He isnt afraid to stand up for what he believes in - he's had the same beliefs since 2002, everyone now agrees with what he's been saying all along, and he can draw 20,000 people in Texas. I live in Texas, and i know how hard it is to find a fellow liberal...too bad I'll be 17 in 2008.
I noticed they managed to get the 9/11 truth banners out of the video. Not good. I will not even think about voting for ANYONE who does not promise to do away with the Patriot Act, and the Military Commissions Act.
He sucks? He predicted the Civil War in Iraq, told you there were no Weapons of mass destruction and told you Iraq was a mistake back in 2002. He doesn't play on his blackness, only your racism see's it that way.
He did not predict. The evidence was clear cut that there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. A decade of sanctions and Inspections effectively destroyed Iraqs weapons and capabilities. Therefore he simply stated what millions that protested the war were saying there isn't any weapons in Iraq. Hasakoom Obama is not running a racist campaign.y should he make Blackness a part of his campaign
I am a 30 year old man in Oregon. In the past three elections, none of the Democrats have had the courage to say anything that I could rally behind. I want to support Obama in the coming election but I am feeling a bit skeptical. Other than his opposition to the war, what is he campaigning on? What would he do to curb climate change? What does he plan on doing to address the economic disparity in this country? I want to know the answers to these questions before I decide to vote for him.
Ralph Nader actually says something. Obama just panders to the crowd. I see nothing new just more of the same. Very ambiguous statement. Can anyone actually tell me what this man will do for us? Nader is a national hero and we owe him our vote.
When we get someone who is polished (has the *flash*, if you will), we're inclined to think "all flash, no substance." But sometimes you get both. He's never going to read policy papers from the podium, and it's WAY too early for the wonk anyway. But if you're interested in what he stands for, try reading. He's got a book--start there.
Obama was awesome, so cool to see so many people there. didn't like the lady who introduced him, she was kind of an idiot. oh well, I was there for him and I got more than I expected. OBAMA '08!!!
Actually he voted for the second Patriot Act. He's a player just like the rest. Don't be fooled. Take a look at his voting record and stop listening to the hype!
yeah they edited it out there so much proof that 9/11 was an inside job but yet they wont talk about it if it was really terrorists then they should have no worries about talking about it
So where is the guy with the "Investigate 9/11" sign? I see your editors have conveniently omitted it. Search youtube for "That guy with the 9/11 sign". Then search for the video of bbc announcing the collapse of wtc7 almost 1/2 hour prior to the actual event.
I was there. It was tremendous. There were young people, baby boomerslike myself, elders, black, white, brown, extreme liberals, moderates and even some disillusioned conservatives. All registered to vote, all galvanized for change.
For the unbelievers, as we say in Texas, you better just hide and watch.
Obama lovers--listen to him, but watch the crowd and keep this man safe. There are people who lie in wait to kill our hopes and dreams that this man embodies. People who steal elections are capable of anything. Please be Obama's eyes and ears in the crowd. Be aware. Cheer him and protect him.
You are the man. Stay clear on your mission and stay with the dream of keeping it true and right for all you reach. Save our country and help us redeem peace in the world. I feel the ground swelling under me. Bring it on brother!

And he should legalize marijuna, most of the rest of the civilized world has.
