  • Can this be easily made to get 33bhp like the Aprillia RS 125?

  • @0000kris0000 Hahaha no. An RS125 is a 2 stroke racebike, This is a few levels down the latter

  • great bike, looks very smart, haters of this bike really dont get how actually cool this bike really is, for people who actually love riding should know its not all about the biggest fastest bike, you just get yourself 2 wheel and enjoy the bike for what it is, it does 100 miles to the gallon and cheap on insurance what more could you ask for, this bikes definitely buys my attention :).

  • my dick brought me here!

  • I see no reason to buy this thing, i learned to ride on a cbf500 and that thing with 52hp already felt slow, imagine how agonizing 12hp will be.

If you got 4k to spent buy a 600 sport tourer or something as your first bike, this is a glorified scooter.

  • @MrGixxer17 For someone who has never ridden a motorbike before, a 600 is very dangerous. A 125 or 250 sport tourer would be a smarter move. They're much more forgiving on errors, which will be often, and the smaller bikes tend to hold value much better as there is always plenty of people looking to buy a bike to learn and feel safe in doing so on.

  • @burleighboy86 If you get scared riding a motorcycle with 60-72 bhp, you shouldn't be riding in the first place.

  • Wtf? Great !

  • 4 k, dear fucking god

  • waste of money

  • show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What a terrible review, instantly repeats himself at 0:45, bunch of clips of him trying to get his knee down and then 10 seconds of 'yer its alright' at the end. Nice one.

  • tzr ist vile geiler 2 takter hald

  • why can't he just review the bike, not show off the fact that he looks stupid trying to get his knee down

  • The only reason his knee is on the ground, is because he is leaning so bloody far off the bike!

  • @scoelliot15 agree'd. I bank more than that on my cbr and don't put my knee down, spesh on a 125, you'd have people behind you thinking you're a moron if you were doing that.

  • @suckityoudongo Same with me on my WR125X! I put my foot down though.

  • lol what the fuck a 125? whats the top speed.. 65?

  • @Avallido89 It's just as fast as your mother roll out of Mc donalds

  • @Thegargoyl007 id rather have a pussy ninja 250

  • @Avallido89 top speed varies from bike to bike. i suppose the top speed on the yzf 125r is 135 km/h. thats apx. 165 mp/h i think. dno, i live in germany.

  • @95Karma95 yzf r125 top speed is 85-86 mph.

  • @95Karma95 165mph? Thats a full blown Yamaha R6 territory there matey :P

  • 2 more yearssss`!!!!

  • Dear santa...

  • He replaces every u with an o... "have a bit of foon" "you'll be able to joomp" :D

  • The guy is ugly! :D

  • yamaha yzf r125 or hyosung gt250r??

  • @aggie2102 the hyosung GT250R will only last you a year, the Yamaha YZF R125 is a much better bike.

If you are looking for a learner bike here is what I would suggest:

Yamaha YZF R125 or Aprilia RS 125 or Kawasaki Ninja 250R (All great bikes).

    HAVE FUN :D!

  • I hate reviews like this! Im not racing the bike, i just want to know the details. Not whether the guy can get his knee down!!

  • i buy a yamaha yzf r125:X:X:X:X it's very cool, it' red, anf fast;), cool bike,

  • wow 13hp...my r6 has 130 =D

  • @kbent88

    And it's a 600cc compared to a 125cc...

  • @0gami1tto Glad you were paying attention.

  • This or the ktm duke 125 plz answer with reason why. Thank u

  • I lvoe bikes and i want a sports bike for my first bike but im worried that im too tall for them; im 194 cm tall ;/ would it be too small for me ?

  • @usblg4gb im 1,92 and the yzf fits perfect for me so there is no big prob with that :))

  • @VyrexxGaming Thanks for the reply ;]

  • @usblg4gb Whats that in ft?

  • @AIBETTSYIA75 around 6ft 2

  • @aFckinPear Thank you :)

  • im getting one of them today for my first bike :D

  • will ride it soon...

  • what is the top speed that this bike can do as it is a 125cc

  • @IRONEGAL69 About 70 mph which is around 140ish Kph

  • @AIBETTSYIA75 ??? 140 is like 85mph

  • Sorry, I'm going to buy this moto, I'm 16, I have only this doubt: I'm 1,85 cm, would it be difficult for me to ride a bike like this?

  • @DedeBesux I'm just over 1.80 and I ride a bike as high as this, not a problem at all :) Can reach the ground flat out with both legs.

I would however recommend buying the Cagiva Mito if you are looking for an R-style 125 cc. It's a 2 stroke so it doesn't sound as good, but unrestricted it leaves the 4 stroke YZF-125 at the starting line. An unrestricted Mito produces around 28 HK and can do about 170 km/h with a new exhaust. With other word it's a LOT faster and a lot more fun to ride.

  • Scusate, ho intenzione di comprare questa moto, ho 16 anni, mi chiedevo soltanto questo: essendo alto 1,85 cm potrei trovarmi scomodo o quasi ridicolo su un mezzo di questa grandezza?

  • rs and nsr eat this for breakfast ;D

  • Anybody reccomend buying this for a first bike? CBF looks like a safe bet but I dont want to it for country roads, so It might be a bit slow

  • it definitey looks the part, but I suspect the new Aprilia RS4 125 is gonna be better performance wise with all the trickle down technology it's getting from the RSV4 like the Quickshifter ad such

  • im mad these arent in america.........wtf lol this an the aprilia r both sweet lol

  • @DrJCCC20

Awh, bummer. I was trying to find it on the Yamaha site and no luck haha.

  • @DrJCCC20

Would be nice to have them in USA but not for 6K USD..

  • imagine the insurance for this and a learner XD

  • RS 125 eats this for brekfast

  • @02dartda yes indeed :D

  • ‎1 Cierra los ojos y repite cuatro veces quiero dinero

    2 Abre los ojos

3 Copia y pega esto en 5 páginas

4 Mira detrás de tu televisor y encontraras 1000 :)

ES VERDAD A M1 ME FUNCION

  • @gonzalo4254 ke estupido es eso

  • doesnt he knw how to ride it straight

  • which one is better yzf r125 yamaha or honda cbr 125 cause i planning to buy one of this model cause this coming wed 1jun is my birthday i planning to take license..

  • @onwardsschool Buy YZF!!! Awesome bike, good to ride, it's far better than older CBR:s. I dont know about the updated CBR tho..

  • @onwardsschool cbr 125 is better is your not that tall but i would go with the Yamaha cause its better build and it has the seat seating higher up and i'm tall so i need a bigger bike. but its up to you

  • I'm gunna be getting one of these soon. will it be good for me to be travelling to great yarmouth from cromer every day

  • I wish I could have one of these, I'm picking up my R15 tomorrow.

  • No worries, this was released almost a year ago, and he's reviewing the 2010 version isn't he? So buy a second hand earlier model from eBay or something and the prices shoot down to just over £3000 max to around £2000 :D

  • Anyone know where i can find parts for these?

  • for 4800 i'm gonna buy a new SV650s from the dealership #FTW

  • £4000... You can get a decent second hand superbike for that.. Still it's not Just Yamaha, Honda CBR's aren't cheap anymore either, or aprillia, or any 125 tbh.

  • £4000... You can get a decent second hand superbike for that..

  • 4000 pounds :O #DAMN!!!!

  • He did his very breast.

  • all of you fucking retards stating the obvious and saying 125 2 strokes are better and faster etcetc, how about you poor fucks just shut the fuck up and buy a 1000cc seeing as your so concerned about speed

  • sooooooooooo....... how much?

  • Comment removed

  • is this bike is going to be launched in India and what its mileage

  • Should I get this one or the Suzuki Drz400?

  • @guachu13 i would get the dr

  • my 1990 gsf would smoke that shit.

I like the looks of it though =)

  • How much BHP does this bike have ??? if its over 33BHP then i cant get it to do my CBT on :/ just want a nice 33BHP crosser bike KTM exc 125 supermoto or Aprilia Sx 125 supermoto <3 can anyone tell me some nice bikes like these with 33BHP please :) thanks !

  • @MysteryBiker123 none of the bikes you said have 33bhp, the aprilia rs 125 is the closest to 33bhp, when its derestricted, but to get the full power version you have to have a full license.

  • @CBAUSERNAME Thanks for the help buddy but i am now getting a Yamaha wr 125 x supermoto :) think it has 15bhp or something like 14.4bhp ??? sorted :)

  • @MysteryBiker123 yeah they are nice bikes, they have 14.7bhp, but they are a bit expensive haha.

  • @CBAUSERNAME True but good bikes, fast and reliable :D

  • @MysteryBiker123 definitely reliable, yamaha is good

  • 15 ps...why would sombody buy this toy not only 125ccm i like light motocycles but 15ps!!! I have a rs 125 with 29 much better idea

  • @Clonetrooper466 yeah i know stupid 4 strokes

  • used ninja 250 would be so much better... this looks sweet though, really pricey!

  • @carsnwomen91 my parents dont want me to get a street bike.. i think they might be ok with a little 125 tho.. if they were ok with street bikes, i would get an r6 though...

  • 3800 euros in spain and i like this bike not because hes fast or something i like it because its a 4 stroke bike not a 2 stroke 1 and i will live longer then a 2 stroke and doesn't make the sound of a grass machine and aprilia rs 125 yes its faster but its 2 stroke its a season engine like the f1 i mean you only drive it once then you have to change it because you cant use it anymore well you can use it but not with the same power like you used it when it was new and yamaha looks better too.

  • i got the ybr 125 because im 17, though this looks cooler

  • got one :) great fun

    quick of the mark

and good top end 77-78mph for mine on a good day

    deffo remomended!

  • Go for the kawasaki 250R... 250cc , 33bhp... MUCH more power for les than 5.000 euro

  • it doesnt sound the zoom zoom like r6 :(

  • W00T FINALLY I CAN GET A BIKE THAT ISNT A RUN NINGANINGA BIKE FOR MY FIRST !! :D

  • I am getting a Rieju Marathon 125 the second i i turn 15! :)

  • getting one of these the second i turn 17! :P

  • oh man kommt jetzt etwa alle 3 vids wo man anschaut so ne scheiz werbung odeer was

  • oh you're kidding me right, there's video adverts now? shit. youtube is gone to shit

  • uhhrm*MOPED*uuhrrmmm,,,

think i got a little cold...

  • @lancekillerlance

then fuck off and take some cold medicine.....

  • wow. I wish america got the cool small bikes like this. America does not get these bikes.

Kawasaki ZX2R (inline4cyl 250, ram air intake. big bike goodies on a small bike)

Honda CBR 250rr (inline 4cyl, this 250 puts out twice the hp of my ex250)

and then this bike. the yamaha yzf r125

  • The camera man sucks, i cannot get a good view on that bike

  • Anyone know why this isn't in America?

  • @rr92890 because its too small for americans :P

  • @xxdominatorzz hahaha real talk

  • 125? is it just a name or this bike has 125cc? my fz150(150cc) can run 160km/h.. this bike must be less than that

  • what's that thing on the front wheel on 1:02?

  • @robotixkun that would be the calliper i think :), the thing that actually brakes

  • please can any one say is r125 gonna release in india or not :(

  • any news on the rumored YZF R250 or if Suzuki will be making a 125cc or 250cc in their GSX-R range?

  • I have been riding my r125 every day for almost 2 yrs now, its my first and only motorbike (altho I am a long time mountain biker, I'm 31) so I cant really compare but I find it a joy to ride. I have had zero problems. I am not fussed about getting a faster bike in any hurry because I like being able rake the f*ck out of it without breaking any laws lol. It's perfect for our curvy irish roads where theres hardly any straights. It can handle a motorway too. top speed 74mph indicated.

  • @rjcobain If you're letting it go in about 2years let me know please.

  • i just checked out a couple of reviews from you guys. it seems very unbalanced. At least inform viewers beforehand that you pick bikes before even riding them! Or just dont talk and let the bikes run while we judge.

  • I guess if you've never seen what a 125 can do in the corners, you might be negative about this bike. But, this is a sweet looking bike and perfect for an entry level or someone looking to learn how to drag a knee.... looks like fun. It's all good.

Remember, there are people out there that could do more with that 125 than the average could do with a 600.

  • I think it needs one more cylinder. Make it a 250 and I'd consider buying one.

  • @MrSpeedfightRichy i checked out insurance 5000 it was for me, that was more than the bike, (this is in ireland)

  • @AHairyBumhaha a good reasonable irish insurance price ireland is just a big taxing cunt i know i live here

  • Mcn pllleeeeeaaase if you must put backing music in, get your sound producer or whoever to mix it up a bit and chose different music. Same song in what seems like the last 7 mcn vids. Much prefer to hear the bikes engine but again if music is 'required' then something different please. Cheers

  • I've seen on the web a 150cc barrell kit!

  • At least parents don't have to worry about their kids speeding on it. Such a small engine.

  • u can buy it second hand at arond 2200-2500

  • finally a good quality vid good review of this not the other one with bad sound

  • Hey!!! No more shoddy microphone! Enjoy the reviews (even more when the audio is good). Thanks.

  • So it's a knee down bike. Wish I could test out all these bikes all day long :)

  • not bad but aprilia rs 125 rules!!!

  • are they serious? I got a 60sec ad at the start of this one!!! Its getting beyond a joke with this shit!

  • @HOTOjake hit refresh to avoid the ads

  • whats the best 125 to learn on? 2nd hand mind at around £1k......

  • @groMMit1981 some old ass honda ones

  • The rs125 is just sooo much cooler.

  • lol getting the knee down

  • Wish we got these in the states. Hell, we don't even get the Fuel Injected Kawi EX250 here either.

  • way too expensive , and im 17 no way i could afford tht or any of my m8s, if you had £4000 anyway u wouldent buy a 125cc u would do the full test n get a decent bigger bike, because thts alot of money for something ul outgrow, jst like ive out grown my ybr 125

  • @MrSpeedfightRichy plus insurance is a killer

  • yzf-r1 best bike in the world

  • they should review bikes kids can afford, last year when i was 17 i bought a brand new rieju rs2 125 for £2400 , its european (spanish infact) and looks just as nice , its got 15bhp aswell, with the same sort of performance figures.

now theres the rieju, moto hispania and hyosung which are just as good, but for half the money.

  • @colbrook91 a 1 year old yzfr 125 goes for £2500

  • @Dravensdmf

yes a one year old bike, and an average 17 year old does not look after their bike.

  • Don't see the point of Brembo's on a bike like this.

  • gay and useless hangoff style - but sympathic guy :)

  • it may not be fast, but its cooler looking then a scooter, and its a real motorcycle.

  • what about putting it up aganst the new aprilia rs 125 not some crapy derbi wonabe aprilia?

  • very cool bike but i think i would take Kawa 250r for just a tad bit more..

  • whats the point of 125cc sport bikes? they r slow and not good to ride anywhere where the speedlimit is more than 40 plus for 4000 pounds u could get a used 600 with more power and more fun to ride which also gives u more room to grow as a rider. On a 125 u'll get tired of it after like 2 or 3 months

  • @TurboMan23 If you get a decent 125 you can de-restrict it and get 90-100mph if you are a short skinny twig of a person.

Regardless however, 125s are aimed at CBTers and commuters (this one is more cbter though as it would be a shit commuter), at 70 (125s can easily do 60-70 unless you are a walking pastry) and hilariously cheap to run, theyre fine for those demographics.

  • LOL that bloody house again!!

  • heck yeah, it looks like a fun bike

  • Better off getting a cheap 125 to learn on then do a full test and get a bigger bike..

  • aprilia rs 125 is 2 stroke therefore a better small engine bike i think

  • £4000 for a 125 is a piss take, i used to have a cbr which wasnt even half that price and just as quick

Ive now passed my full test and to anyone looing at buying one of these: use the 4k to pass your test and buy a decent restricted bike and insurance

  • why don't you get a 2-stroke, it loads more fun (or atleast was when I was 17)

  • I wonder how much of a diet you could put it on? That muffler looks pretty big for such a small big.

  • they should test the following;

    Aprilia MX/RX 125 supermoto

    Aprilia RS 125

    Yamaha DTR/DT supermoto/Enduro

    Cagiva Mito 125

    Honda NSR 125

all the two strokes, see whats what!

  • @sambob104

why 3/4 of them are no longer made

  • @sambob104

    id back aprilia on that

they seem to know whats what when making fast 2strokes

  • @sambob104 i agree

  • what bout the mito in the group test?

  • thanks but i think i'll take a cagiva...or an rs....

  • @kablah8900 yh thats if u want to engine rebuild it ever 3000km. lol

  • 4 GRAND!!!!!

    I really am getting old.

  • Y'know... if your smart, you'd just get a honda CG125 for your CBT and get a proper sports bike once you pass the test

  • Can this thing do highway/motorway speeds comfortably? Like 75 mph?

  • @adoniscomplex 75mph is pretty much its top speed, so yes it can go 75mph but not comfortably.

Still its a good bike and goes as fast, if not faster then other 125s (not talking about full power 2-strokes).

  • This bike is about £2000 too exspensive in my book for learners starting out, but then my old NSR125 was just over three grand and was easily derestricted to 26bhp!

  • does it mean these bike only have 1,2 and neutral shifting pattern?

  • you get a standard R125 not race rep for £3000 and one year free insurance if you pay in cash and i think a all black or or white one looks better anyway

  • i have this bike, its nice, fast enough for somone who has only been on the road 18months. i dont want a bike too fast cause im still a learner
