@jojobongofuzzymalony It doesn't take very long to wash. Maybe 5-7 minutes in the shower unless I'm leaving the conditioner in for a while. I don't straighten or curl it. It's naturally wavy. I just keep it in a bun most of the time to keep from snagging it or stepping on it. :)

I know that some people grow their hair to be donated because its important to them but have you considered some grow it because they feel good with long hair . Thanks for showing us this bun technique. I have long hair, and have made a vow to not cut it until I reach my goal. It was a month after I made that vow that I realized how much I hate my hair. Dealing with it's been a struggle ever since! XD

Just few questions. Do you get headache after a while wearing such a huge bun? Even I don´t wear a tight bun, the weight is sometimes disturbing. And any hint how to prevent damage, when you wear scrunchies? I don´t wear them tight nor use those elastics but I´m still a bit afraid.
