  • what does it mean when the treated paper turns black when you are exposing in the sun?

  • @respects1008 maybe to much light

  • chemistry class thumbs up?

  • just use a real darkroom and the chemicals -_-

not that hard to use take a negative and develop it, i learned it in minutes

  • @7h3d4rkw0lf dude/ette... a cyanotype is considered an 'alternative process' to ordinary darkroom printing. This technique is probably one of the oldest techniques around for printing images.. being invented in 1842. Yeah.. its 'easy' to use a real darkroom, but you dont have the same effect as this... have you tried doing any cyanotyping? :)

  • @aravahimages a few times, but I do admit they were all school experiments so maybe I didn't really get to see a good product, schools tend to do everything downgraded x.x

  • When we let the paper dry, does it need to be in the dark ?

  • Yes, when you have coated the paper it should dry in the dark. At the end, when you have rinsed the final print, it does not need to be in the dark.
