@TadaKiba I've already read the Inheritance in english and it's my second language! I loved the book so much I feel like re-buying the first three! Not because the translations were be bad, the translator did a great job, but it was the use of words in the Inheritance that is in no way replicable in my native language without sounding ridiculous, yet it sounds perfectly fitting in English. The last book, being the longest sequel, was a pleasantly spent half-a-week worth of time. I'm a madman! =D

I don't care if she looks different from the book, Saphria is a diamond in this mountian of shit movie.

Every moment I hear her voice, every moment I see her in all dragon splender, it I feel the movie uplifted for those precise minutes.

Everything thing else is bad from the acting, to cutting the story down to bare bones it's shallow with no depth, and having the production value of a TV movie.

Though Jeremy Irons, despite being a miscast, actually gives the only other good performance

if you read the book, Saphira is basically the older sister/mother Eragon so desperately needs. Basically she's someone who loves him, but also someone willing and able to tell him he's being a total idiot. They took out all the Eragon-being-an-idiot parts in the movie, which definitely does a disservice to both Eragon and Saphira. When I read the book it was my exhasperation with Eragon that kept me reading till the end. They kinda lots that vibe in the movie.

Still I liked the film and I love Saphira - she's the symbol of good, of the helping hand, the devoted friend, the own life sacrifice...The relationship between Eragon and Saphira is what we all would want in our lives. To read each others minds, to trust and rely on each other - it's a magnificent feeling. Between 2 people is extremely rare, because we are used to give trust and devotion for some reward...

I really hate the movie because of the things that is not there. For example the big jewel the dwarves got, its a very important thing! In all of the books, Arya was supposed to break it, instead they made the fight all in the air, it was nothing like it in the book. An Urgals are supposed to have big horns! I saw no horns at all! Argh makes me mad. I hope that after all the movies are let out, there goes a few years then they make new versions moke acording to the book.
