I'm sure I could find similar stories from the US or any country. When I broke my wrist I was treated within a couple of hours and when I needed a test for cancer I got it the next day. The NHS is flawed but it's still far better than the disgraceful US system where people are left to die because they can't pay. The US system is evil.

I was seen right away by a local GP in a tiny town called Braemer, who sent me to hospital. I was then at Aberdeen Hospital two hours later having an x-ray, then had my wrist/arm put in one of those tech micro-casts they use nowadays as soon as the results came through. MRI scan for a broken arm, my arse.

Having lived in both the UK and the US, I can say without any doubt that in every single aspect of healthcare the UK is far superior to the US. Even the skill and knowledge of the doctors and nurses in the UK is of far more calibre than the best medical treatment I have experienced in the US. He's an ordained minister, but so political an animal, he has tried to spin his beliefs to appeal to a larger audience and so as to not sound so radically extreme. He was quite aware of how he was ridiculed throughout the nation just after his first debate, and now he is saying something slightly different.
