a theory i have about this last scene. We're seeing the arrival of the next generation (Mike is Omar, Duke is Bubbles, Sydnor is McNulty). At the end, Marlo has taken one corner, which is how you build an empire - one corner at a time. The fact that all the characters are doing something else but Marlo is doing the same thing all over again, is kinda.... scary.
