as long as your biocsrew stays intact for a few months.... the graft will be healed sufficientlyto the surrounding bone..... as many studies have shown... the problem with most "bioscrew" are that they do not resolve at all! they are basicallyy the same as metallic screws... however they are radiolucent...
biodegradable screws can not offer the same performance in keeping the graft in the tunnel till the complete recovery of the ligament. So the follow up can't be so fast and so strong in terms of reabilitation excercises not to detach the inplant.
how old is this video? If new why have they done only 50 since 1992? I have acl surgery coming up. I teach martial arts for a living. One of my students complains about her screw hurting when it gets kicked. Are these availible every where? I guess i'll ask my doc.
