@TheJdmman2 If your gonna get a base or sl gt go with the supra, however if your lucky to find a vr-4 or have the money for an upgrade to an sl to twin turbo then go with the 3/k. I know because i had a sl but then traded it for a vr-4; theres nothing like the 3/k vr-4. Also be ready to get plenty of speeding tickets, i know from experience.

@TheJdmman2 agian if it's between a vr-4 and a mk4 supra, i would still choose the vr-4. The mk4 may be able to beat a vr-4 in a 0-60, but anything else it cant stand. mad people complain about the 3/k being too heavy or slow, its all bullshit. The stats of a vr-4 compare to that of a nsx, thats saying something. A vr-4 with a deacent air-intake and a good exhaust will run circles around a mk4 any day. Ppl just like to give the 3/k shit for some reason. at the end it comes down to preference.

@TheJdmman2 keep in mind its your first car, so if you want my honest opinion, get a sl or base manual, gain some experience, then after a year or so sell it and buy a vr-4. If you bauy vr-4 as your first car, ur gonna destroy the clutch learning how to drive a manual. i noe from experience. Like i said its just my 0.2. And yea maintainence on one is fucking radiculous.

Found a '92 Mitsubishi 3000GT in perfect condition in an old salvage yard in Wyoming. All I had to do was replace the brake rotors. Now that I've done that, bring on the aftermarket performance parts to increase horsepower!

@Manunit3 Naa, all he had to do was record what about 50 .5-4 second clips. It probably took him about 20 minutes to record, and maybe another 45 minutes to edit it. Now a video that takes awhile is like the one I made called "The Rude Roomate" now that video took about 4 hours of editing, Not including the 3 hours of recording.

If its a VR-4 it WON'T say Twin Turbo on the front valve cover, it will say Twin Turbo on the upper intake plenum/manifold. This isn't N/A obviously, and I couldn't see any VR-4 badging and there wasn't a good view of the underbody so I was unable to see a rear diff or drive shaft.

Either this guy TT'd his FWD N/A or it is in fact a debadged VR-4.

In theory you could, but it wouldn't make any sense since it would cost more to do so tham it would to simply buy a nice used VR-4. pluss you still wouldn't have all the other goodies that come on a VR-4 like twin turbos, better wheels, brakes, suspention, and other oem performance stuff. -your better off saving up and sell your base modle 3000 to get the VR-4.
